It`s rather good idea. I have a relative that hold 1 BTC for his son on cold storage: Ledger Nano S. He bought it at 700$ price. Who knows - maybe his son could use it to pay for his high education  Smiley

I would rather keep cash for my children rather than Bitcoins. Because, who knows? Maybe my child wont be interested in Bitcoin and then I would waste my time hoarding Bitcoins he/she wont use and because I was saving Bitcoins I would not have any cash. You have to first get your child interested and make sure it will use it so it wont 'spoil'.

I think we are doing these days the hard work of being the pioneers in this emerging world of crypto coins. It is always important to leave a heritage for our children, but I think we should not wait too long to share with our children and our loved ones the economic benefits of our efforts in this market. You have to save some bitcoins for thier inheritance, but you also have to invest today in thier education and well-being.

Personally I like this kind of thinking about saving money for a long term investment. It is really a good idea to have the cryptocurrencies mentality and why not to inhert it to whom comes next. But are you sure that Bitcoin (or any other crypto) will lasts until your children are born. The studies shows that crypto in general will disappear in few years (they do not know when exactly) but why not start saving for a long term but if it is down you should know when to sell.

Same here, i'm saving for myself and family and not just the kids. Bitcoin us huge and getting bigger by the day and so i think its just make sense to try and save as much as you can in order to stand a chance  for a better future with it.

This is why we are on this forum because we do really wish to get some huge decent profits or money on bitcoin or even on altcoins which we can pass on our family or loved ones once we passed on this world. It is really worth to save up either bitcoin or some altcoins but yet its not really guarantee that it would last but somehow we can able to see the possibilities.

I will definitely be saving some. I heard that Hal Finney put his private keys in a safety deposit box.

I think there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I think, every savings whether in fiat cash or crypto currency like BTC  is a good decision. I'm also planning that in near future for my daughter. It's better if you will save in different crypto currency, not just BTC, to maximize your savings potential. Also, don't save  your all your money in BTC, always set aside for fiat cash in banks.

ideas to save our children's children for bitcoin later it is very nice but we can't keep it too long but we can only hold in some period of time to ourselves. If we want to save something for our children that is money we are releasing bitcoin and store it in the form of money in the bank it will be better. or you can follow the investment results can be enjoyed by you in the future at a later date.

I made a paper wallet for my son and I deposit a smaller amount of Bitcoins there every month. I kept it in a secret place that only me and another person knows.

I am also setting aside an emergency Bitcoin fund that will most likely go to my future kids.  I don't have any at the moment but hopefully that will change soon.

Bitcoin is an excellent investment and I am sure the price will sky rocket in the coming years.  Smiley

It will be a good idea to help our children life in the future, we can save a little bitcoin to help our kids when they need help in the future. But we should carefully consider bitcoin may not survive for long in the future so we should exchange bitcoin into fiat money.

I think investing in bitcoin as a stock for children is very wise idea. Because, investment we do goes without any party intervention and privacy is very awake. And bitcoin values continue to increase over time.

While you said that there are different types of investment that you can do for your children and there will be strong legal evidence to prove it and nobody can grab what fit in with you as lawful record.I feel it as being a good idea to make expense for kids in btc but kids these day are internet savy i really hope they'll discover it fast and if you child is too small to understand about btc its better you save the documents as document wallet and keep it secure in a bank locker or some secure lockers in your house however, you write down a will record declaring your possession and hands it to a person trust worthy if some thing happen to you all of your cash goes to your child and save them in paper wallet when its time your child will comprehend the value of btc and will have a safe education and future.

I would probably save at least 1-2 bitcoin for my children each, put it in a hard wallet and put it in a safety deposit box.
They can access to it for 10-20 years hoping that bitcoin still exists.  Grin

I think it's a good idea, saving some bitcoins for the child's future.
I also want to be like that in the future. When children want school or other purposes just use bitcoin.
