Hope there would be insurance to accept bitcoins too (like the modern type of insurance offered by banks today wherein your deposit is also yielding profit and lock up in certain period of time and you can choose whether withdraw with corresponding earning yield or take advantage of the insurance plan)

I think it is a good idea to save crypto coins for children's college fund or something. Maybe diversity and buy a couple different ones and store the keys in a safe deposit box.
