Bitcoin is good to save for our family or for our children because bitcoin has a high value and it will continue to rises up in the future that's why it is good to save it for your children.

If I will leave my bitkoyny children then they must know all the data and passwords from the wallet. But the best option is to transfer the All Real Estate or put on a deposit in dollars or euro currency.

To be honest, I am still studying and I never think of myself having a child because I am still young but If I were in the situation who have bitcoin in my wallet and children at the moment then probably, I will save it for my children. Bitcoin is the most valuable among the coins here on crypto world due to the fact of having a potential of increasing its value as the time flies. As the matter of fact, having btc in my wallet is the preparation for my future.

This may be one of the best thing you want your children to inherit.. but if ever, your children should learn more about cypto/bitcoin or it will just come to waste in the future. ( temporary wealth )

Saving Bitcoin for our children is definitely not a good idea because as we all know BTC price is not constant there are sometime that BTC price fluctuates very deep. What I mean is the price of BTC and other altcoins keeps on changing.

Saving for your children's future is a great idea but putting it all on bitcoin I think that is not pretty good. Because what if something bad happens to bitcoin, which I hope not. Everything you saved will all be for nothing. I suggest try dividing it on some other things like bank, or investing it on something, just don't make it all in bitcoin.

yes I will save bitcoins for my children, can be used for their study, tuition fees. Or just in case they get sick, they're secured and I will not find it harder to find their money. And when they grow up I will instruct them to make Bitcoins. I wish Bitcoins increase more in the future.

I have read thru some (but not all) of the comments and I haven't seen anyone mentioning Safe haven.  It's offering a solution for some of the issues that arise when holding bitcoin & altcoins for future generations.

Safe haven will facilitate inheritance of digital assets (and also trustless mutual funds) thru smart contracts with multiple validators such.  Off course you can distribute parts of your keys, passwords, login details and recovery phrases to different friends / family members / safe deposit boxes and so on in order to have backups and, in case something happens to you, give those people the ability to recover your funds.  The problem is that in some cases you could lose acces to your accounts when trust get's broken.

The project has finished its pre-ico and will launch ico somewhere in Q1 2018.  Check safehaven.io and go read the whitepaper.

I think it's a great idea and I'm more enthusiastic on the utility of this project than the possible gains on an investment.

I save bitcoins for my future such as my family and my own family. I want to secure our future by earning bitcoins so that we will be living on a bright and financial free state. It is my main goal after entering to bitcoin because we are not rich and just a middle class family and i want to send my family on the are of life where money is not a matter.

we all know one day we will not be able to earn bitcoins anymore, and all the money we can earn will be used to take care for ourselves and our family. I can also have some savings for him for his better future because of bitcoin and the results of that effort will I give to my children.

that's a nice and smart move from you, props to you.
Saving something every months (fiat, btc) for our childrens it's the best way to give them something to start with, you never know what's the future holds and if now we are able to save something that's something that everyone should do, think about our childrens!

I would buy an hardware wallet in a security box in a bank (or hidden somewhere safe aka fireproof, waterproof, dustproof, etc.etc.) with the instructions and give all the details to another trusted person, that's it.

That's a very good idea! Even though I have no kids, I am planning to do things to my parents. That's a very wise thing to do and thank you for your idea. It will be very helpful for us.

I made a paper wallet for my son and I deposit a smaller amount of Bitcoins there every month. I kept it in a secret place that only me and another person knows.
I give my child half of the Bitcoin I have, if Bitcoin develops in the future, my child will be a prince of Bitcoin, this would probably encourage it in life, I hope that in the future Bitcoin hybrid will grow

Sounds like some kind of gamble  Roll Eyes  Bitcoin is really volatile. Maybe after few years other cryptocurrency will hits record highs. But it's cool idea if you have opportunity to save some bitcoins. The main problem is how to ensure the safety of the wallet for years.

Saving bitcoins for childrens is a nice and wise thing because, we have no idea what will happened to the future , we don't know what will happened in case that they grew up and then they need money for their expenses like tuition fees while studying. What if that time comes but we don't have any money to support them , so as early as now we should earn bitcoins for them as an assurance of their good future.

My plan on bitcoin is not so far let alone my single status. My closest plan now is to save bitcoin as a savings to open a real business at a later time so I can work and process bitcoin simultaneously just in case because until now the future of bitcoin is not necessarily what its fate when viewed from the progress of news from the government that always complicate people who use bitcoin to date even though the government will not be able to control the movement of bitcoin due to the nature of bitcoin in the form of decentralized.

Saving bitcoins or our children is a promising thing for the future of the kids.

Because they won't be able to buy bitcoin in the future. The price will go up significantly eventually and they won't have the money to buy bitcoin.

Like every other investment such as real estate, stocks and other forms of investment we know that you can invest in that kind of things and then you get something like say a Certificate or a Binding Document as a proof that you are part of that investment, now that of bitcoin all you have is just your address, your password, key and seeds as proof of the ownership of the wallet.

BTC

So now if one is considering buying bitcoins and saving for his/her children in the future is there any way to do that with bitcoins apart from having to write down your details somewhere. I'm asking because with that kind of stuff if no one knows your seeds or password no one can get the coins. Huh Huh Huh
Well it is a nice idea to save for your children because as they grow their necessary grows too. Especially when they enter school, the financial will be double up. And regarding to your concern what if you can't remember your password I think you should tell it to someone that you think trusted or to your wife if you have one.

Yes the intention was great but do you think for everything that have passed Bitcoin will last forever? I dont think so, so for me a better way to save money is to save yes of course but in terms of you your local currency which is more secure than Bitcoins, its just about a spectancy that Bitcoin will not last forever because of the continuous drop of the price.

Saving for our children and leaving them with an investment is a very good idea. But leaving your children with bitcoin, i think is not much of a better idea. Bitcoin's price is very volatile and can change from time to time. We are not sure if by the time they grew up and learn about it, it still has its value or if the wallet you kept is secured enough after so many years. I think what's better is that we save and invest on bitcoin now and we'll invest the money that we earn on other things so it will be much easier for us to transfer all those things to them. I think they would appreciate more if they inherit a real business.
