I heard bitcoin gold will also be available for trading later at 18:00 (UTC+7) on Atomars Exchange with the trading pairs of BTG/BTC & BTG/ETH. Hoping for a well-performing bitcoin gold there  Roll Eyes

here's where I got the information: https://medium.com/@AtomarsExchange/bitcoin-gold-btg-will-be-listed-on-atomars-1c2d3c04835c

Might be stupid questions... But here we go , how big is the risk for a 51%attack on btg?  And if there is no financial incentive to run a full node why do people join pools ? Oh and when will btg absorb bch and litecoin's markets Wink

This main ann for Bitcoin Gold really needs an update. I got some old forked coins I wanted to sell today and basically kept getting lost because none of the links work in the first post.

Most of the info there is outdated or the links are dead. I had to manually find many links. However for those that are interested the main page for this coin has moved to,
https://bitcoingold.org/

Which seems to have most update to date wallets and block explorers. Please change it on the main post.

I think the solution to the “51% attack” problem can be found in this thread.

Any statement on how this was possible.
My understanding was Bitcoin Gold was GPU mining ONLY.

Only a ASIC attack vector from ZEC camp miners can explain a 51% at this economic level.

You should read this news before
https://www.cryptoglobe.com/latest/2020/01/bitcoin-gold-suffers-51-attack-malicious-miner-double-spends-70000-worth-of-btg/

Yes, it uses zhash but the problem is if this entity is anonymous who can get 51% hashrate just in short time.

Bitcoin Gold is now available to claim for FREE at Freefaucet.io!

I am sorry if my question seems silly to you. Are there still any opportunities to get this Bitcoin Gold coin today?

From $456 to $7  Shocked
This is one heck of a FAIL

I'm sure next year this time its at $ 0.50

Only ones making anything here are the devs and miners selling these coins to fools

There is practically no updates on this thread, and for that matter there is no posting activity on this thread. By looking at coinmarketcap everyone can see that the price of Bitcoin Gold is going nowhere, in fact is has been slipping for a long time, so that does not bold well at all for the future of Bitcoin Gold.

yip, and as long as they can make people believe that they busy with 'Development' then there will be those buying.

While the devs and miners convert BTCG to BTC as quickly as possible

I'm trying to develop a coin to do the opposite.  Could use some help developing it.
