It could be anywhere from couple of minutes to few days. But unlike it, where the third party is another person, Hawala.Today utilizes escrow to act as a neutral executor of the transactions. What sets Hawala.Today apart? Granted there are a few projects that are based on a fiat – crypto currency exchange model, but Hawala.Today’s model is designed to minimize the required technical knowledge for operation to barely nothing.


Discover

The app uses discovery mode to search for trades near the user. A lot like finding an Uber ride. You write up a request order and send it out. First bidder shows up on your screen and you can proceed with executing the deal or choose to cancel. In two simple steps, you make trades across a secure P2P exchange.


Cash Card

The Hawala Cash Card will allow the user to purchase HAT tokens with fiat currency. The user will enter the code into the app and receive the relevant amount of HAT. The cash card will be made available just like mobile prepaid cards, at general outlets globally.


Wallet

The Hawala Wallet will be the main point of access to your crypto tokens. You will be able to add all ERC-20 tokens, as the app develops. You will be able to add an ‘On Demand’ wallet for Non ERC-20 tokens. All your token addresses will be listed on the main wallet page and your balance will display in tokens and their value-equivalents in USD, GBP or EUR.


AML/KYC Screening

Users on the Hawala.Today platform will undergo verification as per the AML and KYC standards. We intend for this project to succeed and believe in being vigilant and proactive. Only verified users will be capable of moving tokens worth over $600.

Creating new wallet is not imported yet as it's an alpha version of the wallet. You can create new ETH wallet in MyEtherWallet, send your HAT tokens to that address and then import it into the Hawala wallet.

I tried to stake.
Click 'Add Stake' and then I choose 'slow' the gas price shows 50gwei. Is it this expensive always? or it's just because of the congestion on ethereum network right now?
How come no gas price shows up when choose 'Optimal' or 'Fast'?

First we need to know if you're using Windows, Mac or Android wallet app. The gas price is determined by what ethgasstation.info reports so if that site is slow or not working, selecting slow, optimal or fast can have problems. But you can always manually select gas limit and gas price by pulling the bar.
As for the gas price, is's not dictated by the Hawala wallet app. It depends on the Ethereum network and the team can't do anything about it. The best thing you can do is to visit https://ethgasstation.info/ and check out recommended (or safe low) gas price. Currently recommended gas price is 21 gwei which is around $0.5.

Thank you for your advise. I'm using Windows. It seems that the bar isn't working. I can't pull or drag it.
But I can choose by clicking the little circle thing.
So 50 gwei is only $1 or so?. It's not that exepensive. I might try again when the network is stabled.

I don't understand what you wrote... What money? If you're talking about Hawala wallet and tokens inside it, it is secured. When you import private key into the wallet app, it's encrypted with the password you create when first starting the app and it always stays in your device because transaction signing is happening on the device itself.
