The new bitfury chip will have the same pinout?
Our rev2 55nm chip is in the same 7mm punch-type QFN48 package with identical pinout to the rev1 55nm (summer 2013).

Quote
There will be improvement in Ghash/s?

Yes. Our preliminary tests show 25% increase in hashrate and 25% lower power consumption. We will receive new chips tomorrow and will have samples available to developers.

Do you plan sell bare chips ?

Yes, but this engineering batch will not be sold in big quantities. It's for evaluation purposes.

Please add me for few samples. I think 16 pcs be enough.

NEW REV2 CHIPS HAVE ARRIVED!!

NOTE: THIS IS AN ENGINEERING BATCH. PLEASE DON'T HOARD. 32 CHIPS MAX PER CUSTOMER.
Please don't send PM requests for samples. Samples are available through the web shop.

Chips are pin compatible with the previous version. Expect better performance and lower power consumption. We are currently testing the chip ourselves, so exact performance is still unknown. Please share your experiences and measurements in this thread!!!

Pricing is TBD, but will be lower than the engineering samples price.

NEW REV2 CHIPS HAVE ARRIVED!!
That was extremely fast delivery - got the chips in just a bit over 24h !!!

Test results for my 2 chip string board powered with 2.51V and current is measured as voltage across an 0.4Ohms resitor:

Old setup with rev 1 chips -
chip 0   0.805V
chip 1   0.819V
current   1.9925A (0.797V)

Chip 0 replaced with rev 2 -
chip 0   0.812V
chip 1   0.819V
current   1.9875A (0.795V)

Both chips replaced with rev2 -
chip 0   0.812V
chip 1   0.816V
current   1.9825A (0.793V)

Please note, that the expected GH are calculated based on rev 1 cores (756) and will be even more when recalculated for the proper number of cores (864) for rev 2 chips
