Here are the pictures and posts when I first got my avalon:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=137534.msg1601775#msg1601775

The machine works great and runs super stable.

Looking for 270 BTC.

Prefer local pick up in Northern California (bay area). If no one local wants to buy, I'll consider the next best offer.

For your reference:

This Batch #1 just sold for 281 BTC: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=221806.msg2372058#msg2372058

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Interested, but kinda pricey. How many coins have you mined in the past 3 mo?

To be honest, it's the lowest price I've seen so far, so it's cheap. Don't forget this is not a pre-order but a delivered machine.

A machine delivered on the 8th of March will by now have mined about BTC 370 (depending on pool variance and availability)

That has absolutely NOTHING to do with what one bought now would mine. Look at difficulty and look where it's going. But of course that's why you're selling in the first place right?

Correct, but that was not the question of bitx64. His questions was

and I answered that.

I am not selling any of my Avalons, it would not make sense. I though you should read the thread before commenting in it...

Yes, I encourage everyone to do their own difficulty projections. Obviously, some people believe the ROI on things like the Block Erupter Blade/USB will make a positive return. Others don't care about ROI and simply want an ASIC to help protect the network. Different people have different reasons for wanting to get the latest technology. Please don't assume your motivations are the same as someone else's.

These can only do double sha256 and are not useful in mining scrypt based altcoins, correct?

I'm actually going to lower my asking price. I've been given a couple offers of 200BTC, but am looking for something a little higher. Again, the unit is available for immediate pick up.

New price: 250BTC or $25K cashier's check.

This is an extra discount if you're buying with USD since the USD/BTC rate has gone down.

I'd take the offers you have for 200 BTC as the price will only go down as the difficulty rises.

I'll lower my offer to 125 BTC in the meantime just in case you get desperate.

I'm closing the for sale thread. A couple of people have PMed me today...if you're still interested let me know. I'm just going to hold on to the unit and mine with it if no one PMs me.
