I liked the idea of "Angrycoin" to have the same values as BTC but only as a scrypt coin but the name sucks hard.
So i changed the name in the sources Smiley

It is the same chain as angrycoin, so it does not matter what client you use!

I offer all of my 250 mined Angrycoins a.k.a ScryptBitCoins as Bounties now!

50 for the first pool
50 for the first blockexplorer
50 for the first gambling acceptance site
50 for the first Good service / "ebay clone" created
50 for a logo!

If you had Angrycoin already:
- Start SBC once
- Copy Angrycoin config into SBC folder and rename to scryptbitcoin.conf
- add the node
- copy the blk0001.dat file and the blkindex.dat file from angrycoin to SBC folder
- copy the dblog file from subfolder database from AGC to SBC
- Run & start mining
--> You have all the coins you had with AGC

Angrycoin - an another version of Litecoin using scrypt as a proof of work scheme.

The rest is the same as bitcoin.
10 minute block targets
subsidy halves in 210k blocks (~4 years)
~21 million total coins
50 coins per block
2016 blocks to retarget difficulty

Windows Client Download: http://angrycoin.org/angrycoin-qt.7z

GITHUB: https://github.com/agcwei/angrycoin

Sample angrycoin.conf:
server=1
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=8731
Looks like he renamed it to tinycoin on github (the URL in the quote goes to it).

I mean that this commit history says absolutely nothing. Make a fork using git functionality and commit your changes. Otherwise there will be no differences with tarball.

I get no connections with the Windows Qt.
To make my post more precise, at the time when I tried the client, I had these nodes in the conf file:

Addnode = 85.177.17.176
Addnode = 54.242.85.220

I will try again in a few, working on a customers server atm, which takes priority over my toys miners.

EDIT NOTE -  Ran client for 40 mins with no connections.  Tried running the noirbits client and found a block in 13 mins on my 7850.  Done testing now. I have to get some sleep, working swing shift tonight.

For any reason my 2 nodes are not connectable by anyone so i cannot setup the seed node(s) here.

I pay 0.1 BTC to someone setting up a working seed node that stays alive for at least a few weeks! block files for download in first post!

One problem - SBC is already being used by StableCoin:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=227766.msg2397574#msg2397574

It already has several pools using that TLA (three letter acronym) as well...

Are there ways to earn this coin without mining, maybe by writing?

If everyone is thinking outside the box, there is a new box.
