The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

What exactly do you mean by buying a BTC Seg fork? If you already own bitcoins in your own address, you'd be entitled on receiving different tokens from the future forks of btc. Also, The fork is set to happen tomorrow, so if you haven't accumulated some bitcoins in your wallet then now is not the best time to buy seeing that the coin is now priced @ $7000+ a piece. Right now I'm just waiting for everything else to happen and I'd be selling off S2X coins I might receive once it goes live in the exchanges.

He asks whether he should invest into the Segwit2x altcoin once it is available for purchase.

The fork is set to happen tomorrow, so if you haven't accumulated some bitcoins in your wallet then now is not the best time to buy seeing that the coin is now priced @ $7000+ a piece.
Source for this claim?

Right now I'm just waiting for everything else to happen and I'd be selling off S2X coins I might receive once it goes live in the exchanges.
No replay protection -> say bye to your Bitcoins.

You can't buy that anywhere yet. You could try futures trading on Bitfinex, but that is also risky and you're likely going to get burned. A lot of exchanges and services do not want to have anything to do with S2X shitcoin given its malicious nature.

Study it first. Then the first time jitters will disappear. You are jittery because you don't know what is happening. This is just the war of those who want Bitcoin to be regulated which is very stupid for it defeats the core value of Bitcoin which is decentralization. And the other group are the conservative group. Which you should support. If you want Bitcoin to last.
