So far Cryptopia and Novaexchange are saying they won't support BTG, and Yobit is saying it will.  Any other news?

Good question, Bittrex last time supported it but I can't remember if they announced it beforehand or not.

If major exchange sites would stop supporting sprout BTC clone coins. This would end the hardforks. Or else we would have a huge variety of BTC fork coins in the future. BTC Gold, BTC Red, Silver,  OMG Bitcoin is not pokemon stop the forking thing.

I am genuinely surprised that NovaExchange is publicly saying it will not support Bitcoin Gold this early. I mean, they already support most crapcoins... why not one that actually has potential to make a significant profit for them? Worst case everyone will deposit and sell them off and you still make commission on those trades, therefore I do not understand why they are not supporting it.

Oh God, you joke really cracked me up.  Grin . You are indeed correct. They should stop doing this. They are just disturbing the market with what they are doing. Look at what it is doing now. Alts are in bloodbath because of this BTC gold that I won't be touching in any day in the future.

We are also waiting for the announcement of other exchanges especially the big ones but it appears that they are not majorly interested in this thing. They should have made any statement regarding this if this is a big thing for them. With this, I'm also thinking that Polo and Bittrex won't be supporting this. There's a high chance that they might ignore it.

If the exchanges support it, it means that more will keep their BTC there and also get trading fees from the BTG sell orders.  Otherwise, some will take their BTG off the exchanges and store in a wallet to make sure they are getting it.  The BTG site is already coaching people on doing this to make sure they get BTG for free.

I thought BTG is Bitgem, lol Cheesy anyway listing it on Yobit is not a shocking news anymore, it supports a lot of shit coins. An exchange where coins that were left behind is being thrown away on it.
However, I am not aware of Bitcoin Gold, is it true there is a free distribution, but why? Aside from ICO there's an airdrop?

So far there are less exchange sites announcing if they support Bitcoin Gold unlike what happened on the last fork with Bitcoin Cash, I really they would stop with the forking so altcoins can have its place again in the market. Most of my altcoin now are swimming in red because of these forks happening.
