Can't post in main forum, and couldnt find the thread about it anywhere -

Do you think it's MtGox switching wallets for some reason (why?), or something/someone else? Or just someone wants me to have something to talk about Smiley

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

taking into account the volume of trading before the hack it might be possible but still - it seems that someone is in the possession of 1/3 of all BTC ... that even may be the reason BTC is worth what it's worth ...

No.
All those around 47k are transactions from the same address of ~48k.  It sends X BTC to Y address from address Z, and the change to ZZ address, then sends XX BTC to YY address from the change address of ZZ.

So it's not 2M bitcoins in that wallet/address, it's only 48k.
