All Nvidias cannot be Bios modified until now, at least I don't know such program yet. They can though be overclocked through MSI Afterburner utility and my GTX 1060 are running stable for months with +200 core clock increase and +750 memory clock increase.
This card is the response of Nvidia (or better first response as I am sure they have quite some good cards, even GDDR6 in February 2018 at least they have promised to introduce this kind of memory in GPU-s in February 2018) to Vega cards from AMD.

oh.....

so it will essentially kill almost any coin. It should do like 37-40 mh on eth or close I'm thinking and still kill on equihash.

It's going to be hard to talk myself out of buying some of these if the price is what they say they will be, which is a terrible idea for me right now.

I'm not reading that the same way.  I thought it was the partners were not going to be able to make any overclocked/super clocked cards but the end user would manual be able to OC.

I think its a wait and see thing...

Stick with 1080ti, I dont think 1070ti will be worth it, if it comes out.

Do you mine? haha   "if it comes out"  i already have 5k stacked for these cards, they are already coming up on websites as well
I started the 1070ti thread like over a month ago, it's definitally coming, 5 days! Cheesy

Everything here is completely theoretical, we won't know until we get those cards in our hands and try it out. Although, the stats are showing that it'll be similar to a 1080.

"Asus ROG Twitter post basically confirms GeForce GTX 1070 Ti is real"

"LR also managed to pull some specs from the listing. Assuming they are accurate, the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti will have 2,432 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR5 memory (not GDDR5X) running a 256-bit bus, giving it 256GB/s of memory bandwidth. And consistent with previous leaks and rumors, it will have a 1,607MHz base clock and 1,683MHz boost clock."

Eth mining will be dead shortly, I know they've been saying that since 2016, but this time it's really soon, IMO. Smiley

Get you BTC wallets out if you plan on buying a 1070Ti. Expensive!

Hopefully the new 1070 Ti will bring some price movement with its introduction. Hoping to get some 1070 at a discount!

lol,

At 600-700 it would be better to stick with the 1080ti.  Glad I live in the U.S.

These prices are some kind of joke? They have no chance at this price to make any success with this card.
I hope it's just a mistake, because otherwise they have made an epic fail.

I agree. At more than >$450 you are better off buying a 1080 or two RX 570 4GB cards for $250 or less each.

Ya I agree. I thought the goal was to undercut Vega 56.

NVIDIA can also optimise the profits/yields as the 1070 Ti are basically 1080 chips with one faulty SM unit (19 vs. 20).

1070Ti memory has lower latency.

I know it has a different memory type I was merely referring to the chip itself.
