How many days it take to activate a Poloniex account?

Hello guys, this is my first post.

I registered on my Poloniex account and submit documentation over 1 week ago but my verification is still pending.

Do you have any suggestion on what could i do to speed up the proccess?

Hi Rejarul,

Poloniex uses an automated system to verify customer information, while this is very efficient for privacy it has some down sides, unless the pictures are sharp and documents perfectly readable the system will fail.

i have verified my account on poloniex couple of days ago and really it takes around 30 mins/1 hour.
Keep in mind you need a pc with webcam (mandatory) otherwise it will fail, then you have to take a picture of your id or driving license and then a photo of your face.
Automated, easy, reliable and pretty fast, nothing special.

I've been waiting to get verified for close to one month now. I opened a support ticket on the 17th Dec but haven't heard a word from them. My account was opened in early 2014.

Do you think I should try to open a new account using the same passport for verification? do you know if there is any evidence of cross-checking between account approval requests?

Did you hold in your hand paper with Poloniex and date written?  While I was verifying I nowhere saw not mention I noticed this requirement today in their FAQ.

Thanks so much. I think this might be the reason for a delay in my account verification!!! Now i am stuck as i need to wait verification to fails to submit a re-approval

For me it was quick and easy. I don't know how many hours it took, next day I logged in I was already verified. I registered few days ago.

I can't confirm for sure, but I have seen multiple users claiming that Poloniex can't recognize your android camera and you will need to use a webcam.
