Everyone yelling that after the 25th money is to be made in alts will become a self fulfilling prophecy, as they're the ones who're going to drive the price up with their demand. I'd say the rise of alts is starting on the 24th already, as everyone think to get in quick to make the most of their gains

I think probably even before then, the problem is is that most people have their funds tied up in to bitcoin and don't have further money to invest. For those with spare funds they should almost certainly have some in btc and some in alts right now.

What could we do is just hold our altcoins now. There is no guarantee with the fork do I will just let it be. I have somw bitcoin in stash just in case but I will not join the rally of turning my alts into bitcoin. I will just have to wait for it to come back. ETH is really down at price now.

It is impossible to say yet as bitcoin keeps surprising each and everyone more than we can imagine. It is possible the price may drop a little bit after the fork but won't be much and it is still possible that even after the fork, we might start seeing bitcoin get to another ATH. It is really proving itself bullish right now and not even respectful of the incoming fork at all.

Im happy today because finally the price of bitcoin reach 6050 dollars and maybe we see the price of bitcoin before end of this month at 6500 upto 7k dollars. We dont know what actual price of bitcoin after segwit or fork but I hope the price will increase so we can make more profit. But they have possible the price decrease also so dont expect the price will surely increase.

It will change in a few weeks, but in any case you should just hold. There are always these dips and trends, but either way everything has gone up over time. Hold for the long haul and you profit either way.

I think the last bitcoin on the market is definitely showing that despite how much time this coin is already on the market it still gives you options to earn money by even holding it inn wallet!

Then the timeframe until Segwit2x, it will be a price increase

After Segwit2X, it will be something that might be depends on the situation.

If majority accept Segwit2x, then we can expect price to be increase in this case

Price has started to decrease now and I think its the effect of the fork that is making people to sell their coins as everyone is speculating that price will crash badly at that time so people have started to sell their coins so that they can buy it back at low price after the fork.

Wow 6k bitcoin in my lifetime, crazy. Until segwit leading up to it will probably increase yet but I think there will be a good dip and correction after the fact. Or I sincerely hope so because I am leveraged

Your turn will come everyone is fixated in bitcoin at the moment but there are going to be many opportunities in the future for altcoins you just need to be patient and wait for the right opportunity, right now if I were you I will invest even more in altcoins since they are very cheap if you compare it to bitcoin so this is a great opportunity do not waste it.

Bitcoin is now undergoing a little retracement. The very strong rally that happened several days ago has finished. It was brought by the coming of Bitcoin Gold. The price will now be seen to remain a little bit stable for a while. But this is going to be a short while because the coming of the fork this November will again provide fuel for bitcoin to rally very strongly once again. People will be buying bitcoin once again.

another fork coming soon, so 6k is definitely doable. the only problem is how many Alts will suffer along the way and how long it takes to recover after the fork. it's not good that the price momentum depends so much on the so called "free money".
