I saw the news a couple hours ago of how GBminers dropped support for the New York Agreement. It was indeed the case, 2 blocks didn't cointain NYA blockversion signaling, but latest block shows NYA again:

Im not sure what they are playing at, but stay alert, the scammers will try to make you think B2X is BTC and you may lose your coins.

Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

Stop being so paranoid.  They probably just had a configuration problem or something, it's not like they made an announcement that they were going to stop signalling for NYA. 

Regardless, it's only some letters, all it signals is their intent to support the hard fork when it happens.

Oh come on, how is a mining pool going to make you lose your coins?  What are they going to do, make everyone send their coins to the mining pool and then give you back only the new chain?  All they're doing is supporting an agreement which they are still part of.
