Mostly 'Dream Theater', great progressive metal band, you guys should check them out

Love Dream Theater. My favourite album is Train of Thought even though most of their hardcore fans don't seem to like it. It's heavy as fuck. Like Metallica on steroids. "As I Am" from it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muiNqF_XJJc

I saw the 8 Bit version of the Train of Thought album on the related links on youtube so decided to listen to that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V431-FrUXZg  Cheesy.
That's not the heaviest in my opinion. 'Enemy Inside', 'Dark Eternal Night', 'Forsaken' ...... 'As I am' is pretty peaceful compared to these

I don't think you know what heavy is if you think Forsaken is. That's pretty soft and radio friendly by their standards. They even released at as a single: http://youtu.be/C7oH6Ku27Us
