I don't think bitcoin price will drop before 2018 since the bitcoin price is rising at the moment. I know that bitcoin price will continue to rise its price by the end of the year and it can possibly hit $8000 and nothing is impossible with bitcoin since bitcoin already seen its potential and we already know that. I think even hard fork it will not going to dump until $2000.

I hope the price of bitcoin will continue to increase not decrease . But if the price of bitcoin decrease for sure it will recover again because many people like me buy bitcoin again. Are you sayaing that it will fall a value of 2000$ or it will fall down to 2000$? But as what we are seeing, the market value of Bitcoin is continuously increasing and it is also true that there will always be instances that dumps will take place but it is really hard to believe that it will fall a huge amount of value as what you've said.

Do you know the bubble dot-com or the bubble price of Bitcoin in 2013? These examples can help you know: "Nothing is impossible, you only do not imagine these situations!" Therefore, I think the price of Bitcoin can drop $2,000 before the end of this year and it will low more if this trend still keep to next year.

Op, it is a possibility that is bound to happen at any time before end of 2018 reason been that nobody believe Bitcoin will reach its current market value it is today, at above  $6,300 as at the time of this post. If it eventually happen, some people who are late in the investment in Bitcoin will have the opportunity to buy at a cheaper rate but not sure if such a thing would ever happen.

Dont you think that $2000 is so far away from atm's price? bitcoin is over $6400 right now, and $2000 is just a 30% of it's total value (aproximately).
But yes, i hope that it is never going to happen because nobody would like to see their balance by a 60% less, but i dont know, maybe it could be a good opportunity to re-stock your portfolio with some cheap bitcoins, so it will be a win-win situation, but yes, nobody would like to see it happening.

There is at least a couple of months remaining before the year ends and the bitcoin price is still on uptrend hitting another all-time high. No one is in control of the virtual currency  but it is subject to any event that might the affect the bitcoin. It was the funniest news I've ever heard. Bitcoin is currently developing well and I see that there are so many prospects that Bitcoin's price is growing much better. The decrease in bitcoin prices is unreasonable and very unlikely.

The OP is not clear - does he mean Bitcoin will drop by $2000 or TO $2000. It is possible that we have a correction and Bitcoin drops by $2000. If we still end up over $5000, not many will be complaining.

Nobody know what can happen its possible at the same time it's  not impossible, all we can do is monitor the price  of bitcoin every hour or every day to see the movements but it vary on us consumer and trader of bitcoin how much are we willing to give in our investment for bitcoin  and it will vary on our return on investment to check if there are lots of people dumping it.

If you believe that bitcoin can drop that much then act upon it. Personally i don't think that we'll see much of a drop by the end of the year compared to the price now, even though we may experience adjustments along the way.

And i'm pretty certain that the price won't go down under $4500 again this year.

What goes up must come down but absolutely bitcoin can't drop 2000$, every day crypto currencies include bitcoin are growing stronger. Of course the increase is mainstream and prices may go down but not much.

I personally do not think at all it will be happened, and I firmly believe it is not possible. Bitcoin price will stay far away beyond $2000 and I think the price will be stay above $5000 by till end of the year, possibly even will stay above $6000.
