Ethereum Dark is a SCAM !

Ethereum Dark was created by amateurs using the famous Ethereum  name ! There was no whitepaper, there was no road map, there was no team, just a shady and unknown developer. It was a clear scam, but the problem is that, when greedy and stupid noobs, heard just a name of something famous, they jumped on it without making any research. This is the clear example how the stupidity and greediness are making scammers reach ! Classic pump and dump scam (See the charts on coinmarketcap https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ethereum-dark/ )  Now another two scams underway from same scam artists called Ethereum Cash and Ethereum Gold.

1. Created and announced by noobs.

2. No team, just unknown and shady developer

3. No white paper, no road map,

4. Threat is heavily spammed by noobs and paid shills (Broken English)

I have the reasons to believe that  Ethereum Cash, Ethereum Gold and Ethereum Blue are created by same scammers !

Honestly speaking why do you people even bother to look into some new coin that appears in the market before doing prior research on it? Is it because everyone here is hungry for free money and willing to grab every airdropped coin like those e-prefix coins that were flooding the forum last 3 weeks?

The name itself derives suspicions because if it was something related to ethereum then the official devs would have confirmed that. Obviously it is a Pump and Dump made by the scammers behind it and the shills that are paid by it.

People who have been with the crypto market for long time now will understand these schemes of scams very easily but the noobs who are easily blinded by vaporware and false claims will fall for it.

EthereumDark has a big number of supporters (in the thousands) behind and it has not proven to be a scam. Also the voice of these supporters is listened by the dev and their opinion taken into account for the various improvements and initiatives.
It is a sh.tcoin maybe (low market capitalization and low volumes), but you're jumping to conclusions too quickly.
There are coins around which do not serve a specific purpose yet exist for long time, look at DogeCoin or BitcoinDark; are they scams? I think not.

And they aren't bought followers, check by yourself on the twitter audit website. Bought followers show as fake running that audit, so it's pointless to use those services.

So the title of this thread is rubbish. A scam is not necessarily a shitcoin. A shitcoin is not necessarily a scam.
Shitcoin means low trading transactions and low market capitalization. Scam means something being sold for what it's not and then developers leave the project altogether and the investors are left with a handful of flies.

It seems much of tokens that called as well known cryptocurrency are just leave litter on the ethereum blockchain, for example eth gold, eth cash, eth dark, eth unlimited etc. Also as dash gold, dash cash, dash prime etc. I agree that they have nothing to do with ethereum codebase and just created to selling on Etherdelta with pump and dump scheme, that`s about it and nothing new.

I guess that is how most of the scams who operate in this forum are going about. They open a thread about some shitcoin airdrop with no team backing it neither and whitepaper, roadmap or and goal in mind. They promote it on every other social media in the world and the greedy shitposters simply join the airdrop to spread as much filth as they can across every platform that you can think of. The team even "rewards" these shitposters with shitcoins.

Well most scams that act wont reveal their scamming methods unless it is too late or there has not been any blindfolded investor who have bought a large volume of the shitcoin. Most probably after such an incident, there will be a huge dump and the devs will run away from the internet.

To attract potential customers to invest in their project after shitloads of spamming on social media about how this new coin (read shitcoin) will revolutionize the crypto economy and come to the top beyond bitcoin. Seems like this has been the recent trend in the pump and dump schemes happening. More so after the bitcoin forking with the word "cash" there has been more shitcoins with the names ethereumcash litecoincash and so one. Also the flux of those e-prefix coins are no good either. Another new one that caught my eye the other was EthereumBlue LMAO.
