I think the price of BTC will come down to perhaps 5500$ or below before nov25 after then it will go high above 6200$. |

The rally as you know is due to the upcoming fork. I am not sure if the price will drop before the fork unless there is any unfavorable news.
The price will may fall after the fork as correction occurs and people book their profits.
I am looking to buy some after the fork..

I can not speculate. too early bitcoin rises too fast, but I think the gold bitcoin is just like any other allcoin. there may be no effect at all on bitcoins. but not for other allcoin. |

Again speculation thread in bitcoin discussion section. Since price bumps up and hard fork combines with the segregation taken on ethereum. All of the altcoins will be dumps. It is natural according to technical basis. Check the market place supply of the all the coins you invested. You have to decide the sell or buying it according to it. |

this is very important to us because we need to know , and also for the pro to share their thoughts on this
we have our different opinion,
currently as im typing this bitcoin is sitting still on 6000usd at the moment im expecting it to decline to 5000+usd,
thats for us is good but im difinitely sure that when a coin gets high so fast its generally declines and hit at its lowest point
but judging by the trend and how we support bitcoin there is only 50/50 chance that it will decline like we expected
but, lets hope so that we can buy, but yes at the same time we want the btg like everyone wants to have , so goodluck to us

The mid-November fork of the Bitcoin blockchain that is scheduled to happen on November 17, 2017, is said to be the SegWit2x hard fork, while the one we have to experience this October 25 is called the Bitcoin Gold (BTG) hard fork. Yes correct. This price surge is only because of this, I would say the floor is still around $5000. Byt price won't come down after the BTG fork, people will obviously hold the btc till 2x fork till mid November and then sell. The 2x fork is definitely going to have a major effect of bitcoin's price, I am not speculating the price but it will surely drop after the fork. |

Hey Since people are being offered equal amount of bitcoin gold as their wallet balance I think no one will think about selling their bitcoins before the hard fork , but some people are investing in that wallet which is gonna scam them after the segwit2x thus many will start selling their bitcoins before segwit2x and the price will go down considerably. Also the down won't be temporary because now bitcoins is gonna update its systems and blockchains thus till the end of December its expected to hit 8000$. Its going to increase day by day  with small ups and downs. |

Ok, so you want us to offer a prediction that "everyone don't expect to happen so fast" of what will happen to other coins? Ethere, Litecoin, and Monero will each reach $1,000,000. And will Bitcoin maintain its new price? No. And how long will it goes down again like what happened last month? 14 years, 6 months, 3 weeks, 2 days, and 23 hours...exactly.
P.S. What's supposed to happen on Nov 25? I know of nothing scheduled to happen on Nov 25. |

The sudden increase of the bitcoin's price is due to the upcoming hard fork this October 25 for the bitcoin gold as a lot of investors and traders most off all from alt coins shift and trade their coins for bitcoin and keep it on a wallet that they own the private key, this is because they can gain the same amount of bitcoin gold as the amount of bitcoin that they have without doing anything and earning over one day, that's why most of alt coins have their decreases while bitcoin have increase.
Now on November 25 it will have a slight downward to its price due to the people who are selling their coins back to alt coins again but at the end of this year we expect it to raise up to $7000 plus.

That's not how Bitcoin has reacted at all this year. There have been at least 5 significant "gets high so fast" runs this year. Each has responded with a decline that HAS NOT hit at its (Bitcoin's) lowest point. And what's happening November 25th? Are you confusing this date with October 25th, which is the date of the Bitcoin Gold hard fork? Facts are important. Thus we expect you to keep them straight. |

I don't think that there will be an event in bitcoin for the incoming month of november and november 25 to be exact because bitcoin will have an event in october 25 where the fork will be on processed and there will be a new forked coin called bitcoin gold where they can sell it in exchange of bitcoin and grab the free money and enjoy it.

My opinion is simple to the banality, the drop of bitcoin will not cause a big furor, the outflow of investors and even greater investment in alts. In my opinion no one can predict what will happen in a few days. The BTC course can increase by 7 times, but it can also drop to practically zero. I think the price value of bitcoin will decrease at the slightest margin only before and during the Segwit2X because still many people don't understand what is fork event means that maybe some of them mostly beginners will get panic that they will sell their bitcoin for the safety of their investments. Perhaps from the $6000 average today it will just reduce to $5,500 and up but for the altcoins i think many coins will going to close specially those in above 500 ranks anyway it will reduce the messy looks and will give way to other new competitive coins |

Firstly you're misinformed we all knew that bitcoin was going to touch 6k, and it was only a matter of few days. Then with bitcoins you'll know there never is a clarity what will happen, anything and everything can happen, so you need to be patient, look if you're already in Bitcoins sit tight and wait back, if you're planning to get in to do but do it via buying dips, don't play the short term game always go for the long run. Whatever it is I am positive it will be good, so let it come. |

Or maybe you mean on October 25? Where the coming fork is expected by many to happen. As I observe, in the previous fork that happened last August 1, a week before there was a great dip in the price of bitcoin and many sold their bitcoins. I think many of us here already has learned our lesson. To have confidence in bitcoin. Because after the fork, it easily recovers and even improve more.

the war will never end though. something like bitcoin with all the decentralization and the changes it has made to the monetary world won't go unnoticed. it will always have many enemies. they sometimes come in the disguise of bitcoin cash forkers wanting to ruin everything or sometimes come in the disguise of UASFers who want to ruin bitcoin. in the end as long as we stick to certain rules and enforce rules after everyone agrees by reaching consensus we can pull all the enemies down. |

the answer might be speculation or manipulation but what I would like to say is the price of btc is fluctuating a lot so prepare your self the movement for both ways. It is almost reached 6kUSD levels before fork. |

Other coin will be suppressed because a lot of people will focus on buying btc to get the new coin, after the forking I expected there will be minor falling for bitcoin price and few days after forking the alt coin activity will back to normal and we will get a new alt coin |

for me if this event will happen in november 25, there is nothing to loose at that stage because
having bitcoin and then rewarded with btg you will earn something and as everyone is saying
btg is not anti btc, so it means it will only push btc to the next level while btg is at the backup
helping bitcoin, so i think this will be great unless btg will not push november 25, this will drag
bitcoin down, because of the hype , while people have bitcoin because of btg, the price will slide if that will happen,
and etherium will take advantage of it

We can't expect that bitcoin will rise as to what happen last Hard fork where its price suddenly goes up but We can hope that whatever will happen on the next Fork, Nov 25, It will make bitcoin better. |

I dont have idea what will happen on november 25,but all l know and lm waiting for is before end rhis month big break for bitcoin that the value is going to climb to $7000.That this time it is very good to hold bitcoin and wait for the price increase. |

i believe that the major upside will come from the increase on alt as lots of money went to btc for the btcgold
but the btc even if will go down a bit has a new price level now and will stay around 4500 on the low side
this is just my opinion and not a suggestion

I don't see why this Bitcoin Gold is creating such a buzz. It's and will be just another altcoin in time. No new things, just another algoritme, like your typical afltcoin. I Guess the real question is what will happen 16/11 with Segwit2x |

I don't see why this Bitcoin Gold is creating such a buzz. It's and will be just another altcoin in time. No new things, just another algoritme, like your typical afltcoin. I Guess the real question is what will happen 16/11 with Segwit2x the "buzz" is because of all the money earning potential that bitcoin gold is creating in 3 days time. obviously there is the free airdrop that you will receive if you hold any amount of bitcoin. but also something that people miss is the fact that you can mine it. just like you could mine ethereum so far. and there are a lot of ETH miners sad about the block reward going down and also the ETH fork that will end mining. all of them are more than happy to mine BTG! |

Will bitcoin be able to maintain its value? YES. The only way bitcoin price will go from here is up, apart from a slight small glitch. On November 25, its gonna be higher than its current value. About alts, well, I think most of them are gonna keep struggling for now, some may go slightly high, but overall, its gonna be low in terms of bitcoin, but they may go up in their value in dollar. |

I think Bitcoin price can dump a little during the next HardFork. But Bitcoin price rising will continue. Bitcoin price will dump because most of the people don't know about the HardFork. That's why people are afraid for the fork. And for that, some beginner people will sell their Bitcoin very low price for the safety of their capital.
I think Bitcoin price will not go under $5500. So Now, wait and see what will happen on 25 November.

Price will drop to 5000+ because all are investing in bitcoin to get free bitcoin gold and segwit2x and when it finishes bitcoin reduces its value and it happens around november 20 like that I think your question is related about prediction and it’s very hard to tell about bitcoin price that will be the price on 25 Nov or next week because bitcoin is related with market and we must need to look at market that what’s going on there then I think we can tell the price but exact price so we can hope for the best price of bitcoin in coming time. |

As most of the miners already signed the New York agreement to activate segwit 2x six months after signing the agreement,it would be activated in november.Even though,F2Pool has withdrawn its support for segwit 2x,still it has 85% of miners support and also the support of big exchanges and bitcoin related companies.It seems that segwit 2x may succeed in getting majority of the support.
If it gains support,then bitcoin with segwit 2x activation would replace the older bitcoin.There would be no air drop and no free coins could be obtained.
If segwit 2x fails to get support,then a hard fork would split the chain in to two,legacy chain and segwit 2x chain.Here,free coins would be got as per the number of bitcoins each hold.
However,whatever happens,definitely there will be a chaos during that time.Panic selling and FUD would make bitcoin price to decline.Bitcoin price may even fall to $5,000.It may remain temporarily based on the situation.It would be the best time to buy more bitcoins at a cheaper price.It may also be a last chance for buying bitcoins at a price range of $5,000.
