I often follow the bounty champaign program and the worst thing I often experience is not being paid by a project because it was brought in by the developer, sometimes the coin that has been distributed there is no price. I want you to share experiences what are the bad things you experience and what risks you have faced as a bounty hunter ??

That seems so frustrating sir. Not being payed for the services you offered. How many instances have you encountered of not being payed? This serves as a caution to all interested in ICO. I have never experienced this, hopefully not, because this is my first time joining ICO campaigns.

I have never experienced anything like that, but now I'm in danger of two bounty projects not getting paid. and there certainly be a sense of regret and disappointment for taking time for the project and the results are not in accordance with the wishes.

Not getting paid is the worst. Projects need to be more professional in this space.

Worst experience i had was when a dev and the so called team promoted a coin with all their strength and infected the community with enthusiasm and passion only for the dev and team to disappear after ICO. I am refering to ETHBOOK. It is the biggest scam in history of ICO. i joined the bounty and many people invested their hard earned ether only for the team and dev to disappeat without a trace.

Same here had no issues with payment with any campaign I joined in the past worked for more than 20 campaigns, just do some research on the project and the team working behind it before you join any bounty campaign.

The obvious risks of being a bounty hunter, as you yourself express, are that you don't get paid when the project doesn't do well, or simply ups and runs. Then you also have the tokens that eventually get listed nowhere or are dumped quicker than you can get them confirmed in an exchange. To me, with the quality that bounty hunters give sometimes I feel they deserve it, but that's not for me to judge.

The other risk you should be aware of is that if you associate with 100 projects just for the free tokens, then you'll risk reputational damage. Being seen as a bounty hunter instead of a true supporter, that's not a thing you really want. Bounty hunters are motivated by greed and nothing else.

You have to be carefull when selecting a project, try to find for something that is reputable and that doesn't look like a "quick buck", if the project has been in development for years or months that's already a good indicator that the project is working towards something big. If the project popped out of nowhere within a couple of weeks, it's likely it's a scam. I didn't had the chance to participate in a project and not getting paid, but I can imagine how much that would such. Just try to find for good projects and choose quality over quantity (payout). That's the best way to ensure you'll get paid for what you're doing.

It is the risk you have to take doing bounty hunting. So it is best if you choose the projects you join wisely especially if you are doing signature or translation campaign. You will be stuck for a project for a few months to get scammed in the end if you just join without knowing the project first. It is best to join projects that have a business already in place and looking for expansion rather than start ups.

If you end up getting nothing, the worst thing and risk I can think of is to waste your time. Sometimes you put in trust in the project, you end up feeling sad that the project scam you, so some emotion risks here.

the greatest risk is the loss of time in my opinion. There are many more points after the end of the fact. If you have joined the blog awards  and have written a lot of blogs and never received a payment, your life is getting bored. Moreover, your time is wasted. I do not even mention that you can not spend time with yourself or the family. The big risk is great return but it is not that way in reward jobs. you are making a lot of effort. Do not include the rewards money for your future plans  .

Same here, I feel bounty hunters lost their time if the project does not pay them.

The other risk I can think of is opportunity cost. If we waste 4 weeks in one project and get nothing, we might be able to earn some good coins from another project if we make good judgement before joining.

Yeah, i feel you. Feels like being ripped off and scammed. Although no money was invested, there was tome invested. A LOT OF TIME which we could've used to spend moments with our family, friends, and loved ones as a whole. Makes me regret everytime nit joining bitcoin campaigns instead. Although salaries are low, at least it is sure. But still, i like beng with altcoins because it really thrills me. Specially when the altcoin i am doing services with has great potential. Damn, i just can't leave altcoin campaigns.

Before I had never participated in a bounty campaign, I also still had no experience in this. this is my first time participating. hopefully, i did not experience anything bad to be a bounty hunter. do you often get something like this? What do you see from a bounty project that you think will be a success? Unpaid has become a habit in this forum because people are not responsible. Hopefully, you will not experience it again in the future.

I am also a bounty hunter. I know it's not so easy to make big money. Maybe it's more about interest and gambling. If one of the coin/token you have received goes to moon, then your effort pays back.

Not getting paid is worst can happen, this was the reason I have changed my last job... I didn't get paid on time constantly and my boss failed to pay my last 4 weeks, I remember one question on my Interview after that... "so why do you want to change a place of work and start working for us?" that was the easiest question in my life on Interview to answer.

Participating in Bounty program will be always risky because you start support almost always new project/startup and you don't know it is genuine or scam.
