Please read the question carefully. I see many people don't notice that he is holding bitcoin on PC namely ARMORY WALLET. I have never used armory Wallet but i used to use the electrum wallet, i think they will be the same. Please check on the software will be item transaction fee: Please adjust the fee low enough so that the transaction can confirm. It is about 0.0005

Let you try coinpayment.net account for bitcoin and altcoins,For low as fee against 0.0002btc i dont know to others altcoins if thats the same fee too because coinpayment wallet is have a altcoins wallet too not bitcoin only thats a secured wallet and tested theres a campaign for thats site.

He has his own wallet.
He is asking to to transfer coins from his wallet not about a service.
To use coinpayment you must first transfer the coins to their wallet which he can''t do it right now because of the fees.

minimum fee you can pay 0.0002xx BTC but if your balance Bitcoin its large , I recommended you for pay Fee 0.018 BTC or more because fast confirmed block.

Let me get this right...
You recommend him paying a fee of over 100$ dollars to move his coins?
Are you out of your mind?

Now back to the op.

If you just want to move the priv keys go to the backup center in the wallet dialog.

Hi, some of my BTC are on Armory on my old computer.

I want to move those bitcoin to my new computer on Exodus this time (I don't want to run a node on my new computer).

The fees to make the transfer are 0.005848 which is way too high for transferring money from one pocket to another.

What is the cheapest way to move bitcoin from a wallet to another wallet?

Thanks!

I've used around 50k satoshi to send each bitcoin transaction every time and due to the segwit support that gives the more improvement and my transaction already got a fast transaction. It doesn't make sense to see about the reliable fees almost 0,006 satoshi. But you can try to see about the reliable fees through bitcoin21fess and just try to put what you have seen from there about the reliable fees.

I think Bitcoin transfer from one wallet to another wallet is not too expensive. This is the easiest for me.

The higher the transfer fee, the faster the transaction. You just have to deal with that.

You can pay the much do you want for fees. Bumping fees is useful to accelerate transaction confirmation.
Unfortunately miners won't confirm your transaction if you put very small fee.

Check here http://bitcoinfees.21.co/ and here https://blockchain.info/charts/mempool-size The larger the mempool size, the more expensive fees.  So at this moment you should put at least 21 satoshi per byte.

But maybe better way would be to transfer private key from one wallet to another. This should cost 0.

The minimum fee to transger Bitcoin is 1 satoshi. It will take a while for that to get confirmed probably though so you can get it bumped up to have it confirmed faster.

lol, are you joking right? 1 satoshi seriously? go  try to send any amount of bitcoins with that transation fee and see if the reciever will recieve your bitcoins, probably you will have to wait forever and your transactions wont never be confirmed because 1 satoshi is insanely small amount and miners will definetly ignore you not unless you use some kind of transaction accelerator.

Actually, there is no set minimum fee to use the Bitcoin network, and it is still possible to set zero fees for a transaction. However, most web-based wallets that you can use will set in its software a minimum fee. Some express it as a network fee, some express it as a transaction fee. But this is actually just the fee they charge you for their service. The actual fee they use to pay miners for including your transaction will generally vary. Miners in general will prioritise higher fees, since they make more that way, naturally.

You're choosing to use Exodus, which doesn't let you control your fees and sets a minimum for you, but this means you have no control over how low that can be or quickly your tx gets confirmed

If you are using a wallet that enables you to control setting your own fee (My favourite is Electrum!), some websites can help you estimate the minimum fees you need to get your first confirmation in a range of time. My favourite is https://bitcoinfees.21.co

Thanks a lot, I switch wallet to Electrum where I can control my fees and the web site you suggested is great to evaluate how much we should pay.

So for me, I use to have a 0.0002 fee per transaction I made but it really depends on where you will going to make transactions, like where you gonna put your money and depends on the address you give.
The cheapest way is that both parties has coinbase account and there is no fee in coinbase to coinbase bitcoin movement.

Lately I heard from an exchange website that they're only getting 2% per transaction. Well, that's fair for me. But some dudes were complaining about it I don't know why.if they're getting an easy money through Bitcoin and so exchangers does.

Yes, the fee on transfering bitcoin's are a bit too high and i think this is their way of getting their profit. I guess they should set a standard chart of transaction fee's for each amount of bitcoin they want to transfer. I know there are some wallets which uses charts for transaction fees but it is not publicly advertised. I still trust that bitcoin is in their development process and will be more usable and advance in the future.

If you are asked to pay that much fees then it usually means that your transaction size is big, which is either a result of too many outputs/inputs or both. You can't really do anything about it if it's inputs.

However, what you can do is take a risk and create a transaction with low fees(perhaps 0.001 BTC fee) and then paying $4-10 for an acceleration.

At current btc prices, this is still a good deal. However, your acceleration may not succeed.

No
The Minimum Are 0 Satoshi
And If U Use That Fee Maybee Your Transaction Will Never Confirmed
0Sat, How is that possible? You need the blockchain and miners' resources to Transact right.

Bitcoin Wiki is updated on Oct 11, 2017, so I guess this one is most recent update on this transaction issue https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

Yes, satoshi. But there are many wallet account going to get more trx fee and some of wallet getting low fees. Minimum fees not same always the different wallet. Its depend on transfer time, which wallet you using etc

At this moment the required fee per byte is 300 satoshi. Try checking out this site called https://bitcoinfees.21.co (dom't worry it's safe  i hve tested it.)

Btw, it depends on how much money you are going to send to another guy.

I don't know what is the minimum fee to transfer bitcoin to another wallet. Because I use mobile wallet like blockchain and coinbase this wallet sometimes the transaction fee is very low but sometimes also the fee is very high I dont know why the fee is difference when I send bitcoin. But I hope sometimes the fee is very low like before . But if the fee is high your transaction confirm fast.
