But with BTC, how do you define jurisdiction? If the company is registered in another country, domain name is registered out of US, and the owners/operatives are out of US too. How to enforce even it is illegal?

Another good case study. I have seen a company that offers online BTC lottery. Same as what you find in the US. But they open source their software. Everyone can review the source code that generates the random numbers. They ever disclose the finance and accounting. I think it is as legal as the one run by government :-)

Yes it is true, there are also some smartphone applications offers gambling. As long as the government and the law allows this kind of activity to operate; I think there is no problem from that at all because they follow what is in the that governs them.

Is it legal to gamble with Bitcoin in the US? Oklahoma? Asking for a friend..... lol

if you are of the age of majority, able to gamble, and have reported the bitcoin and intend to report your winnings, you should be fine. be sure to save records of your transactions within the casino, they usually have a csv you can export if you need to be able to provide a record. this is general for United States citizens; Im not quite sure of the specific laws that govern Oklahoma concerning gambling. alot of it has to do with the casino you used is licensed. if they are unregulated, that comes back on you a bit, but mostly reflects poorly on them. so use a decent casino, not a fly by night, that asks you for identity documentation (if they are legit, they pretty much have to conduct proper aml/kyc if they serve US citizens)

some clarification, did some additional research:

To be more specific, if the state or region you live in prohibits online gambling, it will not matter which form of payment is being used. Gambling is (technically speaking) not illegal on the federal level by any means. However, several US states have made gambling illegal, regardless of whether it occurs in a physical location or on the internet. The method of payment used to fund ones gambling activities, however, is a different matter entirely.

Totally legal to play and earn from gambling in BTC in the USA if the gambling platform has the license and operates within the US law gambling guidelines. Moreover, it is safe to play gable on such approved websites rather than playing a decentralized website which can scam you at any time.

The legality of gambling depends on the permit of the establishment may it be in Bitcoin or in fiat money. So it is better to see and check if the establishment or online site (in online gambling) is legit and permitted to operate by the U.S government.

A lot of gambling sites and establishments operates illegaly to avoid tax. So make sure that the one yu are playing to is legit in order to avoid penalty or loosing money.

But what do you think about another situation,When gambling platform hasn’t casino license and someone’dwon btc,Has anyone legal right to take away gamblers wining? In my opinion,Its not gamer’s fault and state organs have not any right to do something.I'm glad to hear your opinion about this theme.there are so many Controversial issues and i can not understand, how govermants are going to define this by the law.its fact that there are so many illegal gambling companies and they may have not age control system too, thats very bad,but what we can do?
