The project has one of the most active dev teams right now.The marketing is quite poor, but the software is stable and looks quite promising. What do you think?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

very promising indeed, but the name and branding looks like garbage, they've got big comps in decent and now with DTUBE.

I'll tell you what I think the problem with the project is. Imagine STEEM where you can't go to steemit.com but you have to download a windows program and use it that way. Would steem be big? I think that's the problem it needs to be easier then youtube or it will not work.

Tell me if I'm missing something because if it's going to make it big I to want to invest in it, but I just don't see how?

Even with it's competition I think LBRY still has a very good chance of making waves in the online video realm. Additionally, it's one of the few blockchain applications that many "average users" could adopt and use and it has a working product currently. The team is very active and constantly updating the platform. They will likely ramp up the marketing once they have worked out some of the issues the community is addressing (more aesthetic interface, actual streaming vs downloading, etc).
