Developers Samsung have presented an installation for crypto currency mining as a solution for processing old smartphones.

The installation was built by a division of the company C-Lab - a team of engineers who are engaged in creative projects. They demonstrated the "farm" at a conference for developers. The company itself has so far refused to talk more about the development.

Engineers connected 40 old Galaxy S5 and created for them a new operating system, "sharpened" for mining bitcoins. The developers also noted that eight such smartphones can work with greater energy efficiency than a standard desktop computer.
