Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

What are the exchanges that would support bitcoin gold and what are the ways to get bitcoin gold?

The best way is to download Bitcoin Core and put your bitcoins there, then simply wait for the hardfork to happen.

https://btcgpu.org/

According to this website, you have 21 hours to get your setup ready to access the BGold. You must be holding your private keys ideally, but you can also deposit them in an exchange that will list it, this increases risk tho, with the benefit of having instant access to the coins to dump them. Click on "ecosystem" on that website and you will see the supported exchanges.

There are multiple options;
1. Store your bitcoin in paper wallet
2. Store bitcoin in electrum or jaxx wallet where you can get private key of your bitcoin address.

You only need to have private key of your bitcoin address where you will have your bitcoin at the time of fork to claim them afterwards. So you should use wallets that give you access to your private key.

When there will be bitcoin gold supporting wallet after fork (till now no any wallet have added support for bitcoin gold), you can use those private key to claim free bitcoin gold.

Buy BTC before the fork and transfer it to cold storage. Once the fork is completed, you would get a 1:1 ratio of Bitcoin Gold

for all the BTC you owned before the fork. I see some members are reporting that they are already trading Bitcoin Gold on

Yobit. {not the actual Bitcoin Gold, but credits for BTC stored on their system}  Roll Eyes

All will be more clear after the fork which exchanges will be accepting and which will not. If you want bitcoin gold before the fork though you need to hold bitcoin on a desktop wallet.

i think bittrex support the bitcoin gold or the hard fork that will take place on november 1 but the snapshot will be on october 25. meaning to say that you need to hold your bitcoin on october 25 so that they will recognize that you have bitcoin on that day. after the snapshot you can trade bitcoin to altcoins already.. is there any effect on bitcoin when that bitcoin gold appears?

To get BTG, you need to keep your bitcoins on a purse or exchange, which will distribute them to everyone. Unfortunately, there is still no 100% information on what wallets and stock exchanges will support BTG. Most likely it will be the Bittrex and Yobit exchanges, and then all the rest, as it was with the BCC. Cool

It seems to me that the easiest way to get free coins is to store bitcoins in a secure electronic wallet. After some time your purse will be an additional expense to be bitcoin gold in amount 1:1. Some time you will not be able to use them because in order to complete the transaction will need to establish a secure network. Then support wallet will tell you if they will support this coin or you need to transfer it to another wallet.

Bitcoin exchanges and wallets such as Luno, Xapo, and Blockchain.info will not support BTG for now.
The bitcoin exchanges that will support Bitcoin Gold (BTG) for now are HitBTC, Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance, and Yobit exchanges.

Bittrex will take snapshot on october 23, "BTG snapshot block 491,407 occurring approximately on October 23, 11pm PT (6am UTC)". be careful with btg, they will premine 100,000 btg.

Is it possible to receive BTG holding BTC at blockchain.info wallet?
They don't officially support it, so if you can export private keys you should be able to claim btg.

All you have to do is place bitcoins on the wallet that support the hard fork. To receive you free BTG (Bitcoin Gold). You should also hold your private key in case the hard fork affects your wallets so we can recover it again. In addition there is no problem with the approaching hard fork

I thun it would be too late now to be thinking of this if you haven't bought Bitcoins already. But hey, anything free is great right? So if you already did buy or still wanting to buy bitcoins, then there are two things you can actually do.
First is getting yourself an offline wallet that supports the upcoming fork and place your hard earned or bought bitcoins there.
Second is to transfer your bitcoins on online exchanges that are also supporting the upcoming fork.

That's pretty much it. I hope this helps, good luck.

I think you may be too late to send your bitcoin to many of the exchanges as they will have or will be suspending deposits, your best bet is your own wallet like Mycelium or any wallet that gives you your own private keys and then you can do the split yourself.

What are the exchanges that would support bitcoin gold and what are the ways to get bitcoin gold?

Many of the exchanges that support Bitcoin Gold HF are no longer accepting BTC deposits. They have closed bitcoin wallets for the next 24 hours to work on the hardfork so better you can do is send your bitcoin to another wallet.

First you do is to hold bitcoins with supported wallets and exchangers. And one thing you should not do is move it during hardfork because your bitcoins may be lost or it will not reach you. BitcoinGold will automatically receive you during hard fork and you can sell it

What are the exchanges that would support bitcoin gold and what are the ways to get bitcoin gold?
I have read that in order for you to claim bitcoin gold, you must store your bitcoin on a wallet where you have full control of your private keys, for example exodus, electrum or even armory. You will have to export your bitcoin private keys and import them on a wallet that support bitcoin gold, you will then have equivalent bitcoin gold for the amount of bitcoin you had.

I am not yet sure as to which exchanges will support bitcoin gold, but bittrex will probably be one of those exchanges, since currently investors are unable to withdraw or deposit bitcoin on their bittrex wallets.

The bitcoin gold fork has already taken place at 23rd october! Beside there are serious concern about it stability and security! Some exchanges might support it though! We will see how it will turn out it.

it's not hard to get BTCGold, you just need to do a Bitcoin hod that you have on one of the exciters that support Bitcoin Gold. and you will get Bitcoin gold with a ratio of 1: 1. bursa bittrex and yobit already support.

You will have bitcoin gold, if you own the private key to the BTC wallet. Bitcoin Gold is already listed on some exchanges, just go to coinmarketcap.com and it will list all the support.

Why the delay in its release? Are they purposely doing it so that they can have more time to privately mine it?

The website is still down.

There is a lack of transparency here. I doubt if this coin is going to succeed.

Yes, a lot of exchanges have listed the bitcoin gold (btg) including bittrex and binance, also you can find more exchanges on the coinmarketcap.com, so you can buy the btg on these exchanges.
