Thanks for saving me some time in creating a thread for him.

Could you change the title of this thread to:  Scammer - User: Extortion (Attempted scam to extort the scammers).

My encounter with this person (imgur screenshot):

This morning, I made this post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=230852.msg2430004#msg2430004

Within a few minutes, I got a PM from the OP, along with negative feedback ratings from 2 people I have never dealt with before (r3wt and WikiLeaksLover).

a group of hackers has contacted me about you busting their balls in another thread. they have paid .01 for my negative rep service, the equivalent of two untrusted feedbacks. for .0125, you can reverse and nullify the feedback. they are trying to purchase 10 negative feedback from my service, the maximum i allow.
You have not provided a BTC address, how can I pay this extortion fee?
this is not an extortion fee. it is a an anti-extortion fee.
You are asking me to pay to have the negative feedback removed, how is it anti-extortion?
deal rescinded. live with your feedback.
Huh?

if you want the rep removed. you pay the fee. other wise live with it. we aren't in the business of answering 21 questions. we are in the business of busting scammers and offering protection.
LOL....I asked for a BTC address, you are the one dragging it out.

At this point I posted the OPs first PM here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=230852.msg2430322#msg2430322

As soon as I posted this (within 2 minutes), both negative feedback were removed and I got this response:

this is your free pass. we have denied the request to rick roll you. should the user attempt to scam you again in the future contact us. we are friends of no one but bitcoin. whoever pays us is our boss.

I got one last post in his thread before he locked it and deleted his posts.

The last communication I got from them was:
kr4x? i almost didn't recognize you. here you scammed quiet a bit of GLD off of microguy
extortion

Title updated.

It is a bit of a worry that 'Extortion' keeps persisting after being called out as a scammer by numerous people.

its kind of ironic right?

Extortion. We are Anonymous. We are legion. We do not forgive. We Do Not Forget. Expect Us.
