Will Bitcoin ever be $5,000 again?

$5000 is very unlikely however if a bear market starts now, then we might well see btc back to $2K or $3K easily....

Bitcoin is a digital currency and it's rate varying by day to day .Two days back it crossed $19000 , it reduced today to $15000 and in two days $4000 different. Fall in rate some how. But their will be increase after January 1 because it's a new year starting and many will inverse their money in bitcoin to get profit.I don't think it will reach 5000$ back again.

Yeah it is convention that it goes to the highest level and then get a fall of round about 4 to 5 thousand dollars and then come again with maximum potential to give people more and those who are saying that it will go to the 5000$ again are bit stupid because people are buying in high amount at this time and that time no far when it will start going up and people will be watching faces who will not be in it and will regret.

As volatile as Bitcoin can be, anything is always possible. For all we know, it could spike to $20k, but correct to as low as $5k.

Unlikely but true. That being said, it is always best not to put all your money into one coin. Always be safe than sorry.

I agree, we need to invest or put  our money to other coin because if the coin drop down we have another coin to work to continue his in value ( but it's depend for what the token is. ) Anyways, for the bitcoin it won't happen if the price or value droping down to $5,000 again, because if you can see there's posible that will increase his value when this 2018 comes. And for me i think bitcoin decrease up to $14,000 to $13, 000 only, that's my own opinion..

Much better if you have separate fund for buying altcoin for holding in long period of time because that is what i did having bitcoin holding for long period of time and i have altcoin also holding for long period of time.
I do not think bitcoin value will drop down till 5000$ again that was insane dump. Value of bitcoin is ranging 13000$ to 14500$ and expecting that before year end value hits 20000$.

lol we have 3 days until the end of the year. Don't get your hopes up for 20k, or even 18k.

It will probably take at least a month if the price will recover ATH levels.

I guess bitcoin price would be around 17000 to 18000 end of this year and as you stated there's no chance for bitcoin to come down to even 10000. However, the price trend down was due to some corrections happening and this is healthy move. You can expect the price rise of around 50000 before 2018 ends. So, if you're planning for investment now, this is the right time to buy bitcoin I would say rather than waiting for the price to come down still.

None can predict the reality that's been happening with bitcoin as well other digital currencies. So, can't deny that there is no possibility for $5000. With the ongoing growth and adoption of bitcoin over the world supports the growth to continue and reach the targeted price point

I doubt that we can get to to $17,000-$18,000 levels at this point, the market has been bearish for quite sometime now that although we have seen semblance of recovery, I doubt that the trend is reversing right now. That's why you will see that it will peaked at $16,000 but in the next few hours the price will go down to $13,000 and just now we are just above $14,000. And Yes, I would have to agree that we will not recover and touch $20,000 which everyone is really hoping for at the end of the year. I'm also looking forward to 2018 Q1 if we are going to surpass $20,000. But as far as $5,000 is concern, I doubt that we can go down that low, The lowest point that I can see is $8,000-$10,000. However, I feel that everyone is waiting in line to buy back bitcoin as a cheapest price so I decline below $10,000 is a perfect opportunity for most of us that I doubt that it will go down to $5,000 without any serious buyers trying to buy bitcoin.

Remember that bitcoins are driven merely by supply and demand, if there isn't enough demand to sustain the current price of bitcoins then likely it could possibly drop back to $5,000. Though right now, in my opinion, I don't think it is possible anymore. With the recent increase in attention it has gotten and the increase in the number of users, I think demand is already there. The question is, until when will the traders hold out and start buying again.

Futuristically speaking, bitcoins is something that could possibly replace the current fiat. It has demonstrated that value can be created online without the need for a centralized authority. This is just proof that the world is changing and transitioning to a more global and open world where there are no boundaries. If bitcoins gets more traction, likely the price will eventually still shoot up and $5,000 will never be a reality any more.

To think that a $17,000 bitcoin will drop at $5,000 again is madness but that madness can be possible too. We can't really predict the price of bitcoin because sometimes it's drastically rising up and sometimes the bitcoin price crash.

if we remain stable in using a bitcoin payment system, for the price drops to $ 5000. does not seem to be happening. but currently there are many constraints that occur in bitcoin, ranging from network jams to bitcoin failures to have a low fee. maybe this problem will cause bitcoin users to decrease

It is really insane to see prices back at 5k and most of people will make a mindset not to invest again in bitcoin because that price will give a lot of loss to the investor who bought at prices more than 15k so for me 5k is impossible and not acceptable I want to see bitcoin community growing and progressing not to be short of investors and I think investors will not let that happen they will buy as much as they can and bring prices back.

I have take a look at the charts now and most of the coins are down including bitcoin. Yes, it's moving and I don't think it too that bitcoin will ever come back to $5,000. People nowadays are asking too much in the market before the are only asking if the price the can go back at $10,000 and that question was answered when bitcoin reached close to that price and that still looks good at $12,000.

We all knew that mere fact about bitcoin running over supply and demand and if there's no more supply and people are starting to keep on selling then there will be that much supply in the circulation that will lead bitcoin to start getting back to it's previous price. If you take a look at Bitcoin's trajectory, we see 3 major bubbles; at 266, 1200, and 20k respectively. The 1st two bubbles were semi engineered by MTGOX. The recent bubble was attributed by Tether$, as well as publicity.

The lack of regulation counterfeits the price movement of Bitcoin. Bitcoin will be kept honest when real regulation arises.

I think it has no chance of getting down to $5,000 again right now. It didn't even touch $10,000 on its previous dump. So for me it will be so hard to go down to $5,000 unless there will be no major issue happens on Bitcoin.

It seems to me that this topic is simply obsolete and we have long since passed this milestone when the price for bitkoyn was $ 5,000. If we have already seen a maximum of 20,000 dollars, then the difference can not be more than 50% of the value, that is, not lower than $ 10,000.

nobody knows how much it will be worth, but i dont think that it will drop to $4500 or $5000 again, we are on the next level right now, and we are so close to the $5500 mark, why would it drop that much? it is not possible at all because a lot of people would be afraid of that and would dump all their coins.
But i really hope to see bitcoin over $6000 again, this is going to be a very nice christmas present for myself haha.

I think that price of bitcoin will never be $5000 again in the future because now a days the price of bitcoin is $13000 and this price will countinously increase in the future so there will be no chance with bitcoin to fall a very big amount and reach to $5000 . Now a days the number of user of bitcoin is countinously increases day by day which affect the price of bitcoin and price will not fall down.
