Without any airflow over them, yes, they get hot to the touch.

With light airflow over mine, it's at 117F / 47.2C

I would allocate a week (just being concervative, usually it's 4-5 days) after a group buy closes.  there are no group buys at the moment and I won't be running one for a while...  I believe friedcat (manufacturer) is out of inventory.
