I think the same, it's the time for bitcoin's run but i think after the fork it'll be the alt's turn

Bitcoin price has started to fall down and this means there is going to be panic selling out or simply selling out by traders again. In addition to this, new fork with the name of BTG is going to be released in next month. It will become the cause of altcoins pump and bitcoins further decline.

Though this change is going to be a temporary one and the bit coiners will never leave their asset, still huge profits can be earned from this pump.

Few of the altcoins has started recovery and I think it would take 1 to 3 weeks before we would start to see significant progress and  we should not expect altcoins pump from funds flowing from bitcoin market but from bitcoin gold as many traders may likely convert they coins to altcoins in exchangers in other to dump bitcoin gold. Op I still see now as the best time to buy some of the cheap coins in the market.

IMO this is bearish market for altcoins, recent popular ICOs like Enigma, airswap, request and ripio are all below ICO price, which means fast profit from ICOs are over.

I think so far Altcoin's prices have been mainly based on hype as very few are actually making a penny. During 2018 we should start to see actual developments and real use with many Alts folding. Blockchain technology is here to stay so seekout the quality Altcoins!

Just wondering if the pump is over? I bought back my original portfolio a couple of days ago at a lower price, I was looking forward to a good Alt Coin pump but it seems to have slowed right down. Any chance the Alt's might rise again in the next day or 2 ?

I think altcoins are going though a huge correction period and maximum of them are low priced now. If you buy them now you will definitely make some profit in future( no one can tell the exact time though) .But you have to choose carefully, don't buy any dead coin.

Please try not to follow pumps.. that's a mistake that everyone keeps on doing. They see a coin pumping and try to join as soon as possible, just to their dissmay that when they do so, the value of the coin is depreciating. These pump schenes are very coordinated, and unless you are in the group of the coordinators, you won't get out of it with extra cash (maybe once or twice, but you'll eventually get busted). Try to look for coins that have real value, and don't focus so much on whether a coin is being pumped at the moment or is having an upstream. Just find what you believe in worth investing your money in and invest in it, don't care about short term fluctuations. If you want to trade, you shoud get to known technical indicators (which are quite the same as the FX market) but even then you won't be able to always read the market. You're best bet is to be a hodler, or a long-term holder, in this case you won't care about short tem appreciations and will be more relaxed and focused on the actual development of the coin.

I think you are not to late , after the next fork we will really see what is gonna happen.

There are alts that are almost ready to be pumped: dgb, bitb, zrx, xcp. I think they already have momentum to burst throug the resistance. Don't consider my words as trading recomendations. Every trader/investor should decide on his/her own according to own trading system. Just look and analyse.
Some of them can go even lower before rising.

There are many coins which are at it's bottom right now (e.g. FLIK) and have a good potential to grow in the next months. Some are already too expensive. Find to undervalued ones.

Actually due to hardfork the altcoin was in sideways movement and i think this was just short term which ended the altcoin pump and that's the reason that it has slowed down the altcoin movement. Now there are chances to rise again if the altcoin showed some good sign of the trend and momentum in their chart analysis. Specially Ethereum, Litecoin and ripple are expected to rise again in big price if the momentum outs soon. Expecting a good move before the Next Fork.

Buying altcoins and holding of this for long period of time is not too late, seems all crypto currency are declining price I think this is the perfect time to buy and to invest in different altcoins specially the Ethereum. Because I feel that after this hard fork bitcoin together with the other alternative coins are rapidly raising up due to in-dependency of all coins into crypto industry.

I think to make a decision that you said needed a very deep level of understanding. Because we are dealing with is not about the game but the funds that we have, if we make a decision on the basis of vague then everything would have been much worse. Altcoin is indeed very good, but it would be so much better you menijau or analyze more deeply in order to produce the best thing is it's not just based on emotion
