Is anyone able to code up a quick popup to notify me of PMs on the site? If its from scratch and unproven, please post the sauce. Is there something premade for this function?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I have Chrome, I use Gmail, but I don't see any way to make those two things do what I'm asking.

I can't see any pm notification related settings in settings, nor any way to make it email me.

In Personal Message Options in your profile:

"Notify by email every time you receive a personal message: Always"?

If that's set to always, then set up an email filter. noreply@bitcointalk.org to inbox, always.

I'm about to hit 100 pages of PMs. John probably has 10 times that.

You'll surpass me if you keep that up. Smiley I have 434 pages of PMs. I never delete PMs, though.
