So word is that Bitfury units are starting to show up on US shores.

http://thegenesisblock.com/bitfury-400-ghs-bitcoin-mining-rig-hits-us-shores/

Any updates from the lucky rat b'tards that scored the 1 day preorder window for August orders? I missed it. By hours.  Angry

So close to committing to BF's chip vs. KnC but it'd be good to hear if they're starting to arrive to forum members. Please share your experiences - avg. hash rate, unusual error rates, ideal temps, etc., etc. - below.

Thanks!

In Bitcoin land August delivery date means end of August  Grin (if we're lucky).

I am selling in stock OneStringMiner boards, based on the Bitfury chips. Have a look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495536.0

After 100TH is online, the August orders will start coming. So we are looking at end of August. Sounds like 100TH should be up within the next week or 2.

Just to catch you all up:

Boards are in production - we've asked for daily expedited shipments as they come off the line.   These first boards go to 100TH mine, with August delivery kits to follow.  So I'll repeat that I expect August product to ship by Aug. 31st.  Fab says they can do the whole process start to finish in 20 days and we are on the last step here.

By "in production" I mean the pick and place machines have already been set up, solder masks made, PCBs for both board types were made two weeks ago.  "In production" means the actual assembling is happening.

Turns out we had a few remaining components stuck in customs - these were bits supplied by us and sent to the fab.  If you are following some of the other ASIC build threads, you may have heard about the global shortages for key components in this design.  We tackled this problem months ago in order to avoid running out of power regs and inductors.

The CC payment system is a bit of a kludge - you have to go to my storefront on Square to re-select the same product & quantity in order to get to the CC payment screen.  Its like making the same order twice.  We will reconcile these against the megabigpower.com store, which remains the primary store of orders.  We will ship from our order list on megabigpower.com, so don't go direct to Square.  I hope to be able to re-integrate CC payments using Authorize.net by next week...then the Square thing can go away.

I expect to have boards hitting racks in force by next week, I will keep you posted!

Cheers,
Dave
