I am confused as your name and signature suggest you have a background in cloud mining?

If you want to mine bitcoin then you need an Asic machine.

If you are going to mine with GPU you would be looking into some Alt-coins. They may be able to help you with the profitability in the alt coin forum.

Other than that you would need to compare profitability by using different calculators

I want to know expert miners what is the best way to mine ASIC vs GPU

i dont have much experience in mining but i can say that asic miners is the clear winner on this battle. because  asic miner is authenticly made to mine bitcoins and gpus /cpus are only designed for computers and laptops so therefore they cant handle much work or give much power if used in mining operations. but overall both can still be usable and really dependent on what coins  you are mining.

I do think that ASIC is much more better if you want to earn in bitcoins and ETH and any other coins that you want to mine because it has more hash power and it can mine faster then but  the thing is that it is more expensive than GPU. Otherwise,  if you want to mine in altcoin. GPU is the best option if you are in budget, you can buy cheaper or high end graphics card depends on your preference and its not hard to buy those than ASIC which you need to order online in their website and mostly they are not in computer shops or that you can buy in electronic stores. Hope it helps.

Yeah it is better miner machine to make bitcoin mining with the profitable way. In this varient you can choose the antminer s9 to mine bitcoin. This is most trusted machine to mine bitcoin and it is highly recommended miner which is been used to mine bitcoin with the huge profit expectation.
GPU miners are good mine altcoins only but still you can mine the bitcoin with the multiple GPU rigs but the profit is lower than the ASIC miners.

I think it depends on the coin. If most people are running ASICs then that will be your best bet.

If its one of the cryptos that uses mining algorithms that are designed to be resistant to ASICs then its going to be best to use GPUs in that case.

Ultimately it comes down to how much you can mine for the cost of the electricity that you're paying.

ASIC:

Advantages
Compact form factor.
Gigantic hash power right out the box.
Ese to use.
No need for other components only PSU to run it.

Disadvantages
Very Noisy fans
Hard to buy you need to preorder
Hard to sell
You can mine Lightcoin and Bitcoin.

GPU:

Advantages
Can mine several coins at once.
You can tune the video cards to consume less electricity.
Supports many coins.
Easy to buy.
Easy to sell.

Disadvantages
Complicated to configure mining rig to start mining.
To start mining you need a case, cpu, ssd, ram, motherboard, and psu.

The Asic create specially for mining , so i thing it's the best way to mine alt coins and bitcoins now , the gpu also good .

What are you trying to mine..

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the world, and lose his own soul?

ASIC:
-> ASIC is usually designed to support 1 mining algorithm (but sometimes up to 3).
-> After the mining of ASIC, it is difficult to sell
-> More energy efficient is so created specifically for the 1-3 algorithm

GPU:
-> GPU can be used for almost all algorithms (that is, you can get a lot more different coins)
-> Easier to sell after mining
-> Less energy efficient

Based on your explanation, i can see that gpu is better to use than ASIC and I also agree with that because with less consumption of energy will save more money thus creating more income.

There is no doubt about it ASIC's are the best because these are specifically designed circuit chips solely for the purpose of solving Bitcoin blocks. ASIC's can solve the blocks much quicker than GPU and consumes very less electricity power to function. We can say that mining with ASIC is like turning up to a gold mine armed and mining with GPU is like doing the above in our back garden.

I think setting a GPU is more complicated and consumes a lot of power too.  So any way is the best for you.  It must cheaper to to build a GPU setup I think that ASIC. The only thing to think about is the electricity cost of the GPU build.  However, both are a worth to try since I believe, you can gain something out of it...

If you want to be a miner.  read above.

and  gpu's have real warranties  1 2 3 years long.

There is no advantage to all asic or all gpu.   both is the way to go.

as for the op  cloud mining = scam  more often then not.

I have
 host mined
 cloud mined
self mined
cpu mined
 gpu mined
asic mined

> it always come down to a mix  to make money.  not any one .

I think ASIC is a better way to mine than by gpu. When mining at 1 GH/s in a pool you earn somewhere between 0.00001-0.00005 Bitcoin per day, worth approximately 1 cent. The cost of electricity far exceeds 1 cent per day when mining Bitcoin with a GPU.So it’s simply not worthwhile to mine Bitcoin with a CPU or GPU. Currently the only way to profitably mine Bitcoin is to use an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC).  It costs less than gpu or cpu.

I have tried nvidia graphics card and it's a good investment. I'm using 4 cards gtx 1080, i choose gpu mining than asic because it's easy to sell.
