So I've decided to invest in some Bitcoin but I am not sure from which website to buy it from.

I am located in Beirut, Lebanon, and most of the sites I've visited so far either have no option for me to buy or require a verification process that is not applicable to my country.

Does anyone know where I can pay online to receive Bitcoin?

Thanks!

Since there are specific rules and regulations in different countries for the purchase of Bitcoins, you would be advised upon the way that you can buy Bitcoins in Lebanon.

If you are wondering about the different ways of how to buy Bitcoins, then this would serve as the perfect guide for you. You can buy Bitcoins through cash, credit card, debit card, wire transfer as well as through Paypal. There are different exchanges that facilitate the buying and selling of these Bitcoins

Please note: When you sent money, be it digital or crypto, you must be sure you can trust the operator/exchange. Always do your own research regarding website security and downtime.

remember that from methods that greenpips told you above some of them have different (much bigger) fees than others. for example if you use credit cards or paypal for payment you will end up paying a lot more and receiving a lot less bitcoin than you could have if you used wire transfer.

it may even be cheaper if you find a way to buy bitcoin with your local currency from someone around you like using localbitcoins.com

Holding Bitcoin for as long as I can remember

Cryptsy
Cryptsy closed down a couple of years ago and ran away with everyone's coins.  OP certainly can't buy BTC with them, especially since they were an altcoin exchange in the first place.  What an odd suggestion.

But yeah, cex.io accepts everyone except from a list of blacklisted countries, which Lebanon is not part of.

However, you might have to put up with high fees when you're not dealing with a major Bitcoin exchange.  If you're willing to use LocalBitcoins and pay in cash, you might be able to get a decent rate.  There doesn't seem to be any national bank transfer offers in Lebanon.

So I've decided to invest in some Bitcoin but I am not sure from which website to buy it from.

Does anyone know where I can pay online to receive Bitcoin?

Thanks!

I'm in Syria and actually in Syria it's way harder to buy or sell bitcoin than Lebanon , but still you can find some methods
Lebanese have Visa and Master available as I know and I guess you can easily fund some ewallets like Neteller or Skrill
if you have some ewallets available I'm sure it would be easy to buy bitcoin , at least you can do the trade here in the forums since their is a section for currency exchange

here in Syria the only way I know is to buy or sell to someone who is willing to take the other side of the trade , cause it's kinda impossible to find a good ewallet that accepts residents of Syria  Smiley

Hello friends, welcome you to join the big coins of the family, here is from around the world brothers and sisters!
In fact, whether you are from Lebanon or from other countries, as long as you have a network, you can freely trade and investment bit currency.
If you are new, I suggest you can go to a smaller exchange, such as NOVA, coincase, hitbic these first registered a user name. Small exchanges do not require much certification requirements. Then you can go to the miners of the forum to find a miner, with your dollars and he trade a small amount of bit coins, try again. Let the miners to buy the bit you buy the currency to the exchange of the address, you can start the operation. Good luck, friend!
