Hi, guys,

Interesting project and could be truly useful for SMEs if implemented successfully.

Any ideas if the banks would be willing to join the project to invest their cheap funding? Or are they more on the competitor side?

Thanks for thumbs up. Local banks might be reluctant to join the decentralized financing platform at first as banks have locked (and centralized) the financing process. It might take time for them to adapt and join the new financing ecosystem, but we are sure they will be willing to use at least some of their expertise. We believe that over the time they will realise that decentralised model is more efficient and even cheaper.

Banks and their investment bank units are always seeking attractive risk-return investments and they are likely to join the platform as liquidity providers.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Okay, sounds fair.

Is it going to be only invoice financing or do you plan to include other loan products? Could you expand on this?

We have extensive experience in invoice financing. We have a running factoring business ourselves, so this would one of the main services at the beginning of Debitum Network. But to solve global problem of SME financing, we have to offer more financial services - loans, credit lines, VAT return factoring and more in the future.

That helps. Do you have an idea what rate of return investors could expect in invoices or loans? Am I will be able to participate in funding these loans or it will be exclusive for institutional investors? Thanks.

I guess the risk factor is important here. Who will evaluate the risk for specific loans? Can investors do it themselves or take at least few risk reports to be sure it is a safe investment? Thanks.

Rate of return for loan investments will depends on many factors, such as borrower's country, market saturation, loan product, risk levels, etc. We expect the gross returns will vary depending on the development of the region and might range from 5 to 15%. We will aim to balance the risk and the return parts of the equation to have sufficient volume from borrowing side and enough funds to lend.

Assessors will help to set the risk-based pricing for each particular financing case. They will be experts in their fields and will earn coins and their income also depends on the previous track record. It will also be possible to invest without assessment of particular risk assessor.

Great idea.
In real life, many peoples and medium-sized businesses need more money, but banks have a higher threshold, I think it can help them

You are absolutely right. Big financial institutions like banks normally do not work with small and medium businesses leaving them unserved or underserved. Therefore, the credit gap is so big. And in most of our economies small and medium businesses are most crucial part, the backbone of them. Imagine how could we improve our economies by assuring better small and medium business financing. Do you have an idea?

Currently we are not planning whitelisting. You will be able to make the deposit when the crowdsale starts. It will be governed by a transparent smart contract.

The procedure of the loan from your company must be simplified, To establish a stable relationship with producer and trade company, ask them recommend your service. as for blockchain, i won't discuss this here

lubing7683,
We know how busy small business owners are and thus, we aim to make the smoothest financing application possible, yet with sufficient information for risk assessment. Thanks for suggestion, which confirms our experience that word-of-mouth is the most effective sales channel. Of course, we will have to build the first relationships to establish recommendation network.
