Ok, I used nfuse's settings and it's working now. I am on Win8x64 sdk 2.8 Ahh YAC on GPUs, very interesting Good job hanzac on your program What settings for 7970? I'm having trouble getting it to work, also what's a good p2pool
7970 should be the same with 7950, what's the trouble, does it print HW errors? yes settings of 7950 do not work, my display drivers go mad but with cgminer -- scrypt --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 -I 11 --thread-concurrency 8192 i got arround 144 per card and just found my first block.

Wait.. There are people actually mining YAK still? That should be the thread topic. Cause it's freaking unbelievable!
just believe it!

Mining YAC WAS 4 times profitable than LTC.

just believe it! It's kind of funny because YAC has been the most profitable for CPU miners since it came out, kind of sad to see this run end but I knew it would someday.

7970 should be the same with 7950, what's the trouble, does it print HW errors? All the hashrates for the cards are at zero and it crashes the display driver This might be the problem of driver. Here I'm using AMD-APP-SDK-v2.8-Windows-64 & Display driver: 13-1_vista_win7_win8_64_dd_ccc_whql nope got the same but windows 8 / 64b everything above I -11 crashes the driver. I correct the first thread: [Under Windows] cgminer --device 0 --scrypt --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 -I 11 --thread-concurrency 8192 -o <URL> -u <username> -p <password>

but i think it can go faster just don't know the right settings yet. I agree, at least twice as fast scrypt-jane works differently from scrypt, with CPU miners and N at its current level it runs at about 40% the rate of scrypt

Thanks for the release Hanzac. I'm using catalyst 13.4. Sadly with the settings I use for LTC and the stop gap addition it crashed my display driver. I thought it was related to my 6xxx and 7xxx typical weirdness but maybe not. Here's my command line. cgminer.exe -o http://yacpool.coinmine.pl:8088 -u worker -p workerpassword --scrypt --thread-concurrency 8000,2400 -w 256,64 -I 13,10 --lookup-gap 2

You can try mining at: http://yac.coinmine.plP2pool has little payments, it will induce larger fees when you try to send out the coins.

Instructions for compiling on Linux??
Under linux, it's quite easy if you've already complied cgminer once (have all the other dependency libraries installed) Run: ./configure --enable-scrypt make install you might need to copy the scrypt-chacha.cl to the installed dir (typical /usr/local/bin)
