Hey, I've been trying to get linuxcoin working, but keep running into the same problem.  As soon as it starts up X, it freezes with a black screen.  No flash drive activity, only thing I can get to respond is when I press the power button, it makes a beep noise and then flash drive activity resumes, but still black screen.  I suspect it tries to shut down when I push the power button.  I read about this problem in another post, but they fixed it by disabling IOMMU in their BIOS settings.  That didn't work for me.  Any help would be appreciated.

So I've narrowed it down a bit by booting into single user mode.  It complains of not being able to link fglrx-glx.so, which I believe is the driver.  Anybody know how to fix this?

Ok, with the newest download of linuxcoin, it was a lot easier to get the the shell, because of the updated X server.  After a few modifications, I was able to get the GUI going.  Unfortunately, the persistence didn't work.  When booting, I see an error that says that the service live-boot (Or was it boot-live?)  failed.  When I try to do /etc/init.d/live-boot stop, it says that /live/cow is busy.  Anybody know what could have caused this?
