Since Bitcoin is the Engine of crypto currencies market hence, all alt coins follow Bitcoin trend and rise and fall along with it.  Bitcoin has been very volatile since it was launched but it always arises from ashes and makes new ATH. It is a digital gold and very precious asset. Long term investors will certainly make huge profit in the next bull run which is likely to happen once money tightening policy of FED starts easing out and interest rates come down in US & Europe.
