Hello to all Pakistanis and everyone reading this.
I'm not sure if it's allowed to post in English here. If not, please let me know and I won't do it again.
However, I thought I'd share with you an article I accidentally found on Business Insider.
https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/htx-charity-in-action-delivering-warmth-and-care-to-children-in-pakistan-on-bitcoin-pizza-day-1036193351They report that on the occasion of the recent Bitcoin Pizza Day, the HTX exchange, which recently received approval to operate in Pakistan, donated school supplies, uniforms and daily necessities to 120 children from the local GD Government School & Mosque in Okara.
I think it's fantastic that the Pakistani government is finally stopping blocking cryptocurrencies. It's also great that initiatives like this are happening. It educates people about cryptocurrencies, helps with their global adoption, and this initiative primarily helps children. It's a beautiful thing.
No one has any doubt about crypto's potential in Pakistan just because of this. In the last few years, too much development and many positive steps have been taken by authorities. Even still, it's in its early stages, but as things are going, people are now having good awareness and knowledge, and a few exchanges are going to start their business as well.
Pizza Day is now one of the most memorable days in Bitcoin history just because of these people's love to enjoy this and want to remember it as well. HTX has done a good job of providing gifts and other things to school kids because this will help them have good marketing around this country.
Due to a few domestic issues, it's not going to be easy, but many are hopeful crypto is going to be a good game changer for Pakistan in the near future, but first, good knowledge is needed from the grassroots level.
