Escrow means a trusted middleman that makes sure people do not get scammed by each other. So for example the buyer sends btc to the escrow, than the seller gives the buyer the account. Than the escrow send btc to the seller. So the escrow makes sure that both parties are safe in a deal.

Is it possible to get ripped off even after an escrow deal? For instance, if email account and forum account are provided to the buyer but the seller could recover his email account and bitcointalk account afterward?
