For sale: A mounting bracket for a DPS2000BB server PSU (and a breakout board from http://www.price-technology.com). The bracket leverages the case's 80mm fans for cooling the PSU and mounting the bracket to the case itself. There is ~65mm of vertical height between the motherboard and the bottom of the bracket. $25 USD. PayPal only. Lead time is 2-3 business days. Shipping from Washington State, US.

Just got a chance to install one of these in a new build - works like a charm and SUPER easy to install, probably took all of 5 minutes to install, and it would have been less if I bothered to check your pictures first instead of just figuring it out. Airflow for the PSU is great - about my only real complaint is that on the MB I'm using (the Asus B250 Mining Expert), it's pretty tricky getting the USB riser headers in under there. Luckily I had some right-angle ones and I just used those scattered around a bit. I was also surprised how well just those two screws through the fans are at supporting the whole thing.
Overall a must for anyone using a Rosewill server case and the DPS.

It doesn't quite look like it from the pictures, but can this be moved far enough over to also use an ATX PSU? If not, do you think you could offer a set of brackets that let you mount one PSU in the ATX slot, and another like you already have it? Then people running 7-8 X 1080ti setups could get some relief

Then people running 7-8 X 1080ti setups could get some relief I think it would be easier/cheaper to just get a DPS-2500BB (which is what I use with it), which provides 2320w of power, more than enough for 8x 1080 TI's - running that dense with those cards in a 4U will probably result in heat issues. After installing a couple of these, I suspect it would be difficult to do what you ask though, because the DPS encroaches into the PSU area (specifically the power cord which isn't small).

How many PCIE connectors does the DPS-2500BB board give you? Do you have a link to one by any chance I can always use a pico PSU setup from one 6-pin port, or even a full SFX PSU for powering the motherboard/cpu/SATA

Do you have a link to one by any chance I can always use a pico PSU setup from one 6-pin port, or even a full SFX PSU for powering the motherboard/cpu/SATA It's not a board, it's the PSU - it uses the same breakout as the 2000, it just has 2320w instead of 2000w (no idea why they didn't just call it the DSP-2320BB) - here's an ebay link to one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-39Y7400-BladeCenter-DPS-2500BB-Power-Supply-Unit-PSU-39Y7405-L80536J/232576990356?hash=item3626ab3c94:g:36MAAOSwywRaHBl7They pretty much are identical to the 2000 or 1600. On my builds I use a Pico PSU for the motherboard as well and Optimizer's board (which is what this is designed to use) has 15 sockets on it. Using a splitter off of one of the PCIe plugs (assuming you needed 16x) would probably be safer/better than trying to stuff another ATX PSU in the case. I'd keep it simple and just use Spotswood's bracket and a 2500 - it REALLY makes this case much more workable IMO and it's dead simple to install.

I updated the bracket so now its ~15-20mm further above the motherboard (as high as space allows) and mounted closer to the side of the case. I will me fabricating a few of these over the weekend. -Rich

The bracket attaches to the case via the two 80mm case fans. Two more 60/80mm fans could be bolted to the beam along the bottom of the bracket. With the DPS2000B, you want to have as many 80 mm fans to push/pull air through those vented holes as possible. 3 Arctic 80mm fans pushing air from one side, and 2 Arctic 80mm pulling air out from the opposite side seems to work very well. Arctic 80mm 5 packs go on sale every six months or so it seems. The DPS2000BB will shut off quickly without decent add-on fans to cool it.
