on Homepage all looks like an similar "new" ETH Copy and Paste clone Coin.

Maybe he bought it cheap so it doesnt matter to him, specifically.

In general though, it makes very little sense at these low prices - the possibility of a dev return eclipses the little money you could recover by selling at fire-sale prices.

Well yeah but it has been over 2 months since we got even a single tweet from this project. I personally am still holding because there is less than 14 million egas tokens in existence, but after the 1st quarter is done with (end of April) it may be time for us to forget about this.

ETHGAS might, or might not be done ... but CMC has nothing to do with it.
EtherDelta has glitched out and all coins that trade there are not being updated. Egas is exclusively traded on EtherDelta, so, of course, it looks like it died on CMC.

I will continue to hold due to the reasons below. No point selling dirt cheap to get a fraction of your investment back.

We need to separate emotion from reality of mass hysteria. Every other Ethereum named token was in the $0.1 - $3 range and so will this one be.

There are coins out there with much less social media presence and not even websites with $10M market caps.

The market has a mind of its own and it will buy this coin at the next upsurge in crypto. Mark my words on it.

Why are developers so indifferent to their project? So much effort and time was spent, now the coins are doomed to die on a useless exchange. If the development team is no longer interested in this project, its development can be transferred to someone else, just announce it.

Even though my faith in this project is about 98% shattered, I'm still gonna try and wait till end March, maybe by some sort of miracle, some news does come out. Jan, I know how you feel, but please dont forget, you've been in this project for bout 6 month, would it kill you to give it another month or so?

Maybe we are lucky and the dev comes back, and otherwise a pity ... lost money.

The best way to scam people is to make them believe it's not a scam. Hopefully that's not the case here, but for some people, cashing out $10-20k is a big deal.
