Like people are saying, nethash is 130 kH/s.  So need to be patient in solo mining.  There are only 720 blocks generated each day (on average).  This is a very low supply coin.

Been mining for like 20 hours and still no block..  Undecided

average 4 x 15khash 2500k
average x12 10khash 5820k

Same here, 5920k and a 2500k, nothing in about the same time.

How much hashrate do u have? Network hashrate is now 130k.

15KH? I think you are running a wrong algorithm.

Yes, if your hashrate is above 10k you are probably solving Yescrypt, this coin uses YescryptR16. It's a new algorithm so you have to either use the minerd version provided by the dev or mine through the wallet.

does anyone know if the standard cpuminer multi will mine this coin or is it a different algo than standard yescrypt.

It is not the standard yescrypt.

So for now you must use minerd (I don't really know how that works, so I can't explain it).

http://coinsmarkets.com/trade-BTC-YTN.htm I recommend no one really sell at 500 sats.  Keep in mine the total supply right now is only about 66,000 YTN; there is no premine.

A no-premine new-algo project is worth at least $50k USD in my opinion.  This is not me trying to overstate by any means - SIGT hit $1 million + market cap in its early days.  So I think $50k is probably a super-low-end estimate.

If you spread $50k over 100,000 YTN (accounts for supply growth from 66,000), then divide by $6000 price of BTC, you get about a 8000 sats price.  So the sell orders are roughly right, but the buy orders need to come up to match it.  If this project ends up growing in the next 3-4 weeks because of the algo, it could go 2x-10x, but that is obviously a big risk that needs to be priced in.

It's yescrypt with minor changes.
The coin itself is a clone of this coin launched in 2014   Bitzeny https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=849994.0    https://github.com/bitzeny/bitzeny

There is already a GPU miner for yescrypt and the minor changes in yescryptr16 are easily made to that miner.

According to the dev GPU mining is slower than CPU so it might not even worth creating a GPU miner for this algorithm. I can't verify if this is true, though, since the dev hasn't provided many details.

All blocks have 50 YTN reward, where are you seeing a difference?

I never said it was faster.  Just pointing out that there really isn't anything new with this algo than a couple lines of code.

Transaction fee.  There was an 800 coin transaction included in that block.  That's why the solved block received 50.0002

This is an important fact. I haven't any cryptographic skill, but I suppose that the dev use more memory than the usual yescrypt algo. For sure this enhanced the ACSIS resistant.

But the question is how this modification affect a GPU/CPU mining... remember that more memory requirements it's not always better for CPU mining... AEON 4 times better in CPU mining than Monero, but only 2 times with a GPU, and AEON have the half memory requirements than Monero.

And if anyone could calculate the L3cache needed for each mining thread, we could optimize a lot the CPU mining.

Please help me: I tried to mine solo but miner answers:
Code:
HTTP request failed: Failed to connect to localhost port 9982: Connection refused
json_rpc_call failed, retry after 30 seconds
May be I need to run something else, not only yenten-qt.exe and miner.exe (with commands)?

This algo is not using much memory for me, only 4% of the total. I don't think it uses the L3 cache the same way that cryptonight does because I get the best hashrate running all 4 threads even though I only have 3MB L3 cache. With cryptonight I get the best hashrates only running 1 thread.

Yes, its true, and I get more constant and little better hashrate if i don't use any virtual core with a Ryzen, only physical ones.

The meaning of this coin? You need a masternode. Then it will be interesting to buy.

run the demond wait the syncronyzacio, then simple wallet and create direction, and then create your executable file (yenten.bat) and run it .. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
