If you make your product in America, is it unethical or illegal to say on the label that it is made in China, just so you can get the benefit of the crowd buying it?

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

People owned a business can do whatever they want in order to be successful in most cases it is unethical, they might know they did something wrong but they do it anyway. America is very strict when in terms of legality of the business and it depends upon what is the law in the state you live in and they should consider and be careful about it.

I would say that it is completely unethical. You are essentially using completely false information to influence buyers' decisions.

Though not illegal it is rather unethical to do that but in the first place people actually consider things made in China to be rather inferior so why anyone make a label saying that when boldly proclaim that it was rather made in the USA.

If you want making something in America, make money there! It is the only one country where even beggars live better than come citizens of the other countries. As for products... get this stuff from China)

Why would you even have to mislabel them? "Made in America" should be labeled proudly on the item. It shows the company managed to build it locally despite higher labor costs, etc.

If you make your product in America, is it unethical or illegal to say on the label that it is made in China, just so you can get the benefit of the crowd buying it? Basically yes it's unethical because for one thing is you are lying. Outside that, i think it's borderline illegal. But for this specific example, are you doing that products made in China sells now than those made on the states. If i were the company, i would say that it's made in the states but assembled in China

What? Why would you need to lie about that? I'm pretty sure the perceived quality of your product is better if it says Made in the US as opposed to Made in China. But uh, yeah, lying is unethical so...

I don't know if a product marked as made in china is better than the same product marked made in the USA. As i see it, American made products are better than those that are made in China. I mean with China's reputation of putting out knock offs. Going back to the point, if in anything, you lie or falsely label a product you are dealing in bad faith and therefore unethical
