New pool is out ! http://www.btcpool24.com

 RPC URL: min.btcpool24.com port: 8338

The first block is in work. about 2GH/s at the moment.

1st. TopMiner will get 13BTC extra
  2nd.                         9BTC
  3nd                          5BTC

The next 2 weeks there will be a iphone APP to checxk your stats on the pool.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

yeah I was watching this pool over the past two days and it has to be the most unfair pool I have seen. Basically nobody with less than 800Mh is going to rank in the top three and I assume your the one in first place, mcmeidi 1000Mh. At any given time with enough blocks left in a round a major mining rig could come in and trounce the others thus with less time in the pool able to scarf up more BTC than those in the round from the beginning. Sure other pools are the same in that the fastest rig wins but in your case that fastest rig can come in late and get a bonus on top of the valid shares submitted.

I can see this being interesting for some miner pushing GHashes where 4 or 5 of them might come in trying for that 1st place bonus but for anyone under 800Mh it's a losing operation and they would do better over time at a proportional pool.
