I’ve heard a lot of wild predictions but we need to remember that even though this was a good year for Bitcoin, not every year has been good. There have been years where the price dropped or there was very little gain. There will probably be some more years like that in the future. I think that the average price gain per year will be something more modest like 25% gain per year. That would still be a very good gain. We also should remember that there may be some inherent negatives like high fees that offset all of the positives that keeps Bitcoin from doubling in price every year.

we all dont know what will happen next, most of predictions are not totally true, before (2015) predictor experts predict bitcoin price hits to $1k in 2020 but the fact is, its happened early 2017, so prediction are not constant. we all dont know what will happen next before 2020. maybe $100k will happen soon.

Bitcoin has tremendous potencial, and we will have a halve in 2020, so if nothing wrong happens with it, then it should have enough trust from investors around the world. The lightning network could be ready by that date allowing mass adoption of the coin. Institutional money should be already moving in with full power, so yes, if things continue at this rate, we will probably have the price close to those values.

I really recommend you to see how the graph of bitcoin price show that the increase of bitcoin price just so significant.
$100,000 dollars is not a miracle for bitcoin, all I see is that bitcoin always increase based on its percentage to the current price,if its increase for about 200% in just 2 years, then we just make it to $15,000.

There is a chance. However, with the value you mentioned. I don't think it would reach that high, its prevailing value now of $6,000 took years, considering that you only have two years lefts until 2020 that much of an increase would be impossible. I think its not possible. Bitcoin has a lot of potential but i think its not to that degree. I dont think in a mere 3 years it will rise to a incredibly large amount. In my opinion, i think bitcoin will only rise up to 30,000 - 50,000 dollars in 3 years and that was already pretty huge amount. No one could accurately predict what will be the amount in 2020 because we don't know what will happen but also it is not bad to have hope, but not totally huge that you will cling to it because it could produce a huge impact to you mentally.

no one can "predict" the future and by the way most of the "speculators" say price will be either 1 million dollar or $500,000 by 2020.

depends on market's demand but I think it's not possible. Bitcoin has a lot of potential but its not to that degree. I don't think in a mere 3 years it will rise to a incredibly large amount. In my opinion, i think bitcoin will only rise up to $20,000/30,000.

May be you are right in your own prediction but I agree with the subject mentioned figure i.e. $100,000. The price of Bitcoin has increased tremendously over the past few months. Honestly, if bitcoin goes that big that quickly (yes, that quickly) no one will want to touch it. not really fond of this insane rally we have been experiencing this past year, this is not sustainable and I can only hope that we would check this growth by this point. despite how ridiculous a value increase this is (this is extremely improbable, but I would have said the same about the price a few years ago), the main thing is that folks just wont let that much profit go untaken. say I purchased coins at 1000. Having a market value of 100000$ is quite impossible especially with that short period of time. But I am not saying that it won't happen. But to think that its current value is still on 7400$ and the goal this year is 10000$, so it would be hard. Three years from now bitcoin value was not reach the $100000 value speculation, we all knows that even how fast bitcoin value runs in the market they can't reach it immediately. This amount was high so it is impossible meets in short period of time.

I’ve also heard a prediction that Bitcoin will hit $250,000 by 2020. It seems very unrealistic but Bitcoin is worth 7 times what it was about a year ago. I’m sure it won’t continue at that pace, but it doesn’t have to in order to get to $100,000 or even $250,000 by sometime in 2020. I’m scepticle of those predictions and I think we need to be prepared for any situation, including a bear market for Bitcoin at some point as well.
