You'll have to contact the people at Dekado.io, they're the only ones that can help you. Funny joke. 150 million dollars gone. "very upsetting" Probably meant $15,000 worth of bitcoin.

Kindly correct the above statement as I am pretty sure you never meant to say 15000 btc . May be you would want to say 15000 satoshi or 15k$? I think their should be ideally a way that if it is not sent to correct address it should either not allow itself in first place to send or should return back form the senders address if sent to incorrect address.

I did this yesterday on shapeshift. accidentally put my bch address instead of my btc address to receive btc. the confirmations went thru and i figured it was lost. so i can actually retrieve them? i also have some bitcoin cash coins in that address, do i have to worry about those coins being corrupt bc bitcoin coins in there? i use a trezor and just emailed support. is there anything i can do to get my btc? thanks for help update** trezor has a very easy to use recovery method that worked for me, got my .182 btc back! heres link to recovery tool: https://trezor.io/recover-coins/and guide https://blog.trezor.io/recover-coins-guide-bitcoin-litecoin-78da0d290c79That's very handy indeed if you own a Trezor, but doesn't work if you don't have one. To use the recovery tool you need a Trezor plugged in. Thanks for sharing anyhow! You sent BTC using shapeshift, so does that mean even if you didn't send BTC "with" trezor, you can use this technique? The page https://trezor.io/recover-coins/ show only litecoin, BTC, BCH, so that doesn't apply for other altcoins?

You can't send Ripple to a Ethereum address for example. The most common case is where a user sent LTC to a BTC address or vice versa. And you can only use the tool if you own the address the coins are stuck. E.g: you withdrawal 10 LTC from your local exchange and sent them to your BTC address by mistake.

But Dekado is not help me about this.
Then unfortunately there's nothing you can do. Only they have the private key to the address you sent it to so they're the only ones that can help you. If they do want to help you then you're out of luck.

I recently sent BTC from my account at local bitcoins to my KeepKey wallet. Unfortunately I sent it to a BCH account. I own the address that it was sent to. What should I do to recover the BTC?
I don't know if you later get your money back? If no then your have learn a had lesson of which that make you to be extraordinary careful any time you are transferring Bitcoin from one account to another. Although i don't have much idea as to whether such rong posting can be retrieved back.

That was impossible to recover if you got the error transaction in bitcoin, hopefully, it may serve you a lesson that next time you must be careful about having a transaction. And that was a moment of carelessness, any transaction issued with Bitcoin cannot be reversed, they can only be refunded by the person who received the funds. Technically that means you should take care to have a transaction with bitcoin or else it will be lost to nowhere.
