Gamble can be persuaded with those people who are high interest to play gamble. Eventually, this field has been penetrated with many people as an entertainment that accompany on stress reliever. And I think we don't need to convince people who don't show interest on the field.

Introduce gambling if you really want to have fun with your friend but don't convince them, this two is different. Its true that if people are not interested to gamble then respect his decision. Gambling is just a losing game even if you have fun, and some people are not afford to lose money so don't convince them.

In my opinion, you cannot do anything about that anymore and that is out of your control. It’s the persons personal agenda now and people who have tried something that they had fun and want to continue might have some problems in the future. It’s not wrong to teach them the right thing but it’s up to them to do what is right.
We have individual diversity. As, Howard Garner introduced 8 multiple intelligence. Therefore, we cannot pursue anyone to like what we want. We have different likes, so why do we need to control everyone?
People enjoys gambling but not all of us. As what you have said, it is not wrong to teach them how to gamble as long as we just share some facts with them. But controlling their emotion is not good also since they have rationalization.

Is totally wrong to convince someone that something is good.
For you it might be enjoyful but this doesn't mean that it is for other people as well. And apart from that, Gambling is a risky and "expensive" way of entertainment, thus it is not for everyone.

When someone is interested on it for some reason, and further if we're explaining them all about the possible risks then it isn't wrong. If we're not explaining about the risks and just insisting to spend time and money on gambling, then it is wrong. I explained to a friend of mine and suggested him give a try and if success is not yours quit it. He spend on sports betting, on the very first betting he lost and quitted.

It is really up to the person who will be in gambling. While others can handle losses and can keep their game, others will quit the moment they lost. And we can't blame them. A matter of personal preference I would say. You can't tell them to just enjoy the game but on the other hand, they are already losing money. Let them decide what to do with their gambling life.
