A few minutes ago I was checking Nova for cheaper ITZ prices and saw this (emailed it aswell)

We have important information from Novaexchange management to share with you.
This information is sent to you since your email ( zerotoniq@gmail.com ) is registered with Novaexchange.
Please also find the latest information from our news page (https://novaexchange.com/news/).

Intimation of closure of Novaexchange
Kindly note "Novaexchange" will have new owners and management effective April 2018, with major upgrades to the exchange to better handle scaling, stability and security.
For better management and security of customer funds we have decided to close down Novaexchange so that the users can withdraw all their funds with no participation/responsibility of action of the new management.

Preliminary plan:
2017-10-30 This information goes public, user registration closes, addcoin page closes, disabling deposits of ETC and ETH
2017-11-30 Deposits disabled for ALL coins, all users get level 3 verified account level
2017-12-15 ONE last deposit scan to take care of deposits made after 2017-11-30
2018-01-31 Email reminder to all registered users
2018-02-28 Trading engine stops, dice game stops, API stops
2018-03-31 Login stop, website replaced with information
2018-04-15 Support closes, all Novaexchange user data removed

Remaining user balances that has not been withdrawn before 2018-04-01 will be considered a donation and is not refundable.

The dumping is unreal, be fast and catch a bargain. I can confirm a withdrawal of ITZ
and there it is: 81742b5dc954d36beed85edc86fa02fc15a09f9f2cea671890693919e73c3c93

Yeah, I'm experiencing it as well. The news is certainly true, I checked it on their news page and looks like Nova Exchange ownership will be transferred.
It's not a complete shutdown but rather a clean off to start fresh for the upcoming management that will handle it.

I just hope that this will really happen cause comparing to other exchanges, nova takes extra time to load. (even in the past)

Maybe there is still an update for setting all users to level three. Good luck to all, that they will get out their funds.

If iwithdraws will work properly then respect to the novaexvhange team, that they informed their users in time and end their serviced in a legit way. I regret, that novaexchange goes.

Currently I'm trying to withdraw my coins but I am unable to do it.
Because when I am hitting the withdraw button nothing happens, JUST LOADING LOADING LOADING!  Angry

I think nova is owned by honest persons. If not, they wouldn't sent mail to inform the users of their closing.  Roll Eyes
And I also think they have given enough time to withdraw all the coins of all users.

The current situation of the site is too much laggy, it maybe due to overload. All the users jumped up at a time to withdraw all of their coins.

I have seen several threads open up because of Nova Exchange closing down but this is not the first time this will happen, several businesses have closed down and even some only gave a short period of time (bit mixer comes to mind) and several others that have closed down that we don't  even know anything about. Its their decision, they know the best reason why they are taking that course of action.

I think the reason why the site is not loading is the amount of people all over the world trying to withdraw their funds at the same time forgetting that the business is not closing totally until 2018 which means there is enough time to withdraw your funds just take your time as they are not expected to steal the resources of their clients.

They didn't mentioned anything about closing, in the month of April 2018 again they will open the exchange with the new owner and with upgraded features but only they know whether they want to shutdown or not.

is it just me or is nobody capable of selling anything on NovaExchange?

i know they are closing but they never said anything about closing down markets and/or trading. and i have some different altcoins there which i would like to convert back to one coin and withdraw that coin, possibly LTC or at least all into bitcoin then withdraw that.
but the orderbooks are empty, or at least i see them that way!

API call works fine though!!!

Everything is working fine.
Maybe everyone sold the coins which you are holding. That's why the buy orders are empty.
But their site was too laggy/slow few hours earlier than now. I have successfully withdrawn all my coins from Nova, but it took time to withdraw due to slowness.

strange. i have tried  a couple of more times but i still don't see anything in the orderbooks. they are  clean as in nothing in them, there is no history either.  and i have checked multiple markets, not just one coin. i guess it must be some issue with their server, the slowness can cause it too.

well i at least don't have much there to worry about Tongue

There is nothing to worry, the site is working fine now. You can start to withdraw all your funds if you wish, even though you still have plenty of time before they close but I think it is better if we withdraw anything we have as soon as possible.
The mentioned above problems maybe because there are too many users requesting withdrawal or cancelling orders or even selling all what they have.

It's rather withdraw to another exchange or to official wallet than sell off.
