Checking www.coinmarketcap.com, I observed in their top 30 gainers some coins gaining upto 1000% and some depreciated that much.

Please, I beg to ask, are such gain/loss reasonable and also, what could be the implications?

I am new crypto-enthusiasts and open to diverse perspectives.
