In October, 2017 Stella started to cooperate with IBM, thus Stellar Lumens will grow, and this growth has started already. However, the value of 1 Lumen is so small. It cannot be compared with Ethereum, which is the decentralized virtual machine. But thank you for this awesome guide.

Sounds interesting, I will make a few experiments. What is actually possible to do with these tokens? Is there any kind of smart contracts already offered by the platform or on the roadmap? Or would these tokes be more similar to those which can be produced on the waves platform? Are these tokes technically listable by exchanges?
